Very central location. Easy and convenient check in, confirtable and convenient location

I was under the impression this was an Enviable double room as per your images. But judging from the photos this is nothing like an enviable double room. I’ve even taken a recording to show how much smaller it is

Well situated hotel; reasonable price. Staff v helpful and friendly. Really good breakfast (we went for a la carte). Furnishings / decor a little run down but clean and overall a really nice hotel.

Fabulous stay , great location , staff extremely helpful and friendly

Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Had to wait a while for breakfast but there was a lovely young man who couldn’t do enough for you. Shame I didn’t get his name but he was excellent. We had a lovely few days.

The stay was great, bedding comfortable, breakfast tasty. What was a really nice touch is the person at reception remembering my name. I'm not sure if that's part of the role, or my pink cat hoodie made me difficult to forget. The only negative is that the TV didn't have chromecast built in, so I couldn't watch youtube/netflix/prime/etc

Conveniently located for touring Canterbury Cathedral

The Abode Canterbury is an excellent hotel located in the heart of Canterbury. From a convenience point of view, everything is close by - you've got a convenience store, lots of restaurants, and easy walking distance to the cathedral and other visitor attractions. The staff was friendly and service was excellent. For North American travelers looking for king size beds, this hotel does have them, but you need to ask for "Super King" beds specifically. If we find ourselves in England again and an Abode hotel is available, we would absolutely consider staying there again.

Perfect location for a 1 night stay. Good facilities and the room had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay at the abode. Hotel is located in a great location for exploring Canterbury. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. Some areas of the hotel looked like they needed a lick of paint but overall it was good value for money.

A lovely hotel with great staff, beautifully located for all the attractions in Canterbury. Room very comfortable and ver well equipped. Breakfast arrived cold but this was put right as quickly as possible.

Hotel Abode is located in the heart of Canterbury on High Street its main thoroughfare and within walking distance of most major sights and great dining. The breakfasts at the hotel were excellent. The staff was polite and very responsive. A great stay!

Staff was very friendly and super nice. Service was great. Good location if you visiting the town, walkable distance to train station and restaurant. Maybe the only downside if I have to say is the flooring was a bit old, so in the morning i could hear people walking upstairs.

We have stayed at the abode a lot of times although i think its time for an update to the decor

Lovely as usual. Having stayed in an “enviable” room type before, it was noticeable this time having dropped to “comfortable”. Still high standards but a little tired in the bathroom, a small entrance (slightly awkward with bags) and less frills. Still lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay (and complimentary birthday treat). I would always opt for an enviable room when funds allow but all rooms are lovely. Thank you for a great stay! I will be back again soon
