Great location, comfy bed. Tiny bathroom, which needs an update, old fashioned shower over the bath, not ideal unless you are nimble! The bathroom got me rated it as a 3 star hotel, none of the little extra touches you tend to get in most 4 star hotels, Staff nice, bar area lovely

Very nice, clean and comfortable room on the 1st floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the High Street. The double glazing meant we could enjoy the location while not being troubled by noise from the street. Great service from all the staff and a wonderful choice on the breakfast menu.

Me & my wife stayed in the Fabulous Suite for our 35th wedding anniversary. This was the second time in the same room. It does not disappoint, with lovely king size bed, separate lounge as well as the spectacular terrace with comfy sofas & Cathedral views. Great Summer Grill dinner & a superb cooked breakfast. Get stay, attentive staff.

Lovely room and breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly. Room was a little hot and bed too soft for my liking, but it was clean, quiet and spacious. Close to the Catherdral and Theatre. Nice range of restaurants close by too. Would definitely book again.

Thus is a charming, old hotel in the center of Canterbury. The breakfast is excellent. Reception staff was not welcoming. Service in the bar was awful and prices exorbitant.

A pleasant and comfortable experience. We were on the high street side but window had double glazing which kept out street noise very well. Room was quite warm and air conditioning didn't seem to go any further down than 17 degrees so was a bit warm at times. A nice hotel with friendly staff.

We stayed 2 nights and had a hire car. The hotel had a car park which they charge £25 a night, had limited parks available and insecure. When we arrived we were told that the car park was full and we would have to park at the local car park which was an 8 minute walk. The staff couldn’t tell us what the charge would be except it would be expensive. The person who checked me in assumed I was married and to a woman. I corrected them and said my travel companion was my partner. Not a great experience with staff. Turns out the local car park was cheaper than parking at the hotel. Only €21.20 for 2 nights. Disappointing that the staff gave us wrong information. They should know better and be informative and also not make assumptions. The hotel was central and Canterbury was walkable. The room was roomy and comfortable.

Perfect central location in the heart of the historic district. Jack and Johnathan were very helpful and professional. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant on site after long days of sightseeing.
