Excellent Hotel

Upon checkin the hotel rep at this Novotel was rude and disrespectful to me. There credit card machine/moneris would not accept any of my 4 credit cards...I told him he had to reset the machine as that was impossible I had just used my credit card to buy groceries for supper at the Intermarche 5 mins away. He told me I was travelling Europe with no credit and I had no money and could not stay at the hotel even though I had paid the booking in full....months ago! I only owed the city taxes. They demanded a $200 euro deposit. When none of my credit cards worked the guy was rude and kept insisting that I had no money to stay there even though I HAD PAID IT IN FULL MONTHS AGO. He finally reset the machine and authorized a $50 deposit from the hotel manager. Once the machine was reset my credit card worked great! The other major problem with this hotel is there was no air conditioning on a day that was 31 outside....our room was 36 degrees above and they gave us fans that did nothing to alleviate the heat and discomfort. We could not sleep because it was hot as hell even with the french door open. We asked for a room with air conditioning they refused to give us anything at all just the fans. No service at this hotel would never stay here again. I thought Novotel hotels had standards they have none!

Hotel fine, check in limited to desk and laptop , English limited but then we are in middle of France. Nothing memorable. Restaurant staff good , food was average except the price £164 for 4 of us and no wine.

The hotel was ok, the restaurant should be open longer and not have a limited menu. 1 set price for breakfast is ridiculous, I paid less for my lunch at the hotel.

The room wasn’t clean and the balcony had spider houses and full of dust. We asked for a crib when we booked. The crib came without a mattress. Staff don’t smile

Really was a nice day . My kids was so happy and enjoyed in swimming.

Booked two beds and a bathroom with a tub but got a fold out sofa as bed two and no tub. The place is dated with stains in carpet and spots on wall but the pool was pleasant as was the staff. I would stay here again but definitely wouldn’t pay full price. Many of our budget hotels were just as nice and a bit cleaner.

gates to get in take ages to have someone open clean and pleasant staff take no accountability - disappointing issues couldn't be rectified and manager only planned to arrive at hotel after I would leave (9am +) - issue was not dealt with breakfast quite basic but nice with different options to select from

Pleasant room that was clean and spacious. Location was perfect for us as we planned to be close to family who live in the area.

Comfy room for stop over, ate in restaurant which was disappointing.

Thank goodness for the Novotel Hotel. We were originally staying in a budget inn hotel which was filthy and extremely small, the Novotel offered us a room for a slightly more expensive price but it was well worth it. Breakfast was included, it was very clean the pool was nice and the service was great.

Some of the facilities felt a little worn. Noticed lots of plates with cracks. The room was excellent as well as the food. Staff were very friendly.

Lovely staff. Hotel has a swimming pool that you can use till midnight!

Fantastic service from the reception to waiting staff. Cleanliness was great in the room. Just an excellent stay.

Hotel is nice but not much else besides the golf course to do in the area.

Nice modern hotel. Not much around or near to station but we visited friends in the local town so it was convenient.

The hotel is clean and is located in quite area. This is perfect hotel for mainly business purposes but also pleasure.
