The room was beautiful and outfitted with very lovely hardware and decor. However, the room was totally impractical. There was no place to unpack, no place in the bathroom to leave personal care items, and no drawers in which to place clothes.

The pillows are actually uncomfortable. The location (across the street from the beach) and distance to restaurants is excellent.

Nice little getaway. I like that it was so close to the beach and state st. Their free bikes were a really nice plus we took them down to the beach then into state street. We also took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi. I will say the bathrooms do look like they’re due for a reno and the beach view we got from our room was not what i expected since it was a private beach view we had to have the

Right across the street from the beach, walkable to shops and restaurants.

First time in SB and it was the perfect location with a beachside view and walking distance to the wharf, downtown, and the infamous FunkZone. Housekeeping was very prompt and kind. Only downside is that it is street parking and you’re also competing with other hotels, general public, and tourists. Valet is pricey $30/night but worth it to not have to worry about a parking spot every time you leave. Would highly recommend this hotel, we can’t wait to come back :))

Needs a refresh on the rooms and if on ground floor you hear everything above but pleasant stay and nice staff. Looking out to the beach and has nice fire pits outside also. Only stayed 1 night so was acceptable but bed is a box spring mattress so not the best for longer stays.

Beautiful low key qaint Santa Barbara hotel.

Hotel Milo is very nice from the outside and we loved that it was super close to restaurants. However, we give this place a 3 star rating overall because of some inconveniences. The room my mother in law stayed at was in the 1st building room 100 something and I think that side of rooms are not modern at all. The room had a musky smell, the water pressure in the shower was very low and the water had a funky smell. My mother in law had to suck it up for 2 nights. The room my husband and I got was building 5 or 6 I don’t remember but it was 216 and it was much nicer than my mother in laws, but on Saturday morning there was heavy rain and we got a leak in the bathroom so we had to be moved to another room. Room 237 and that was nicer than where we were before. Much smaller but much nicer. I’m guessing all buildings are different. Some are not so upgraded and some are. The noise from the streets was a bit bothersome. Not sure if we’ll book here again. We usually stay at Hilton down the street but unfortunately they were fully booked. I think for the price they charge all rooms should at least be upgraded.
