It was just nice

Certain staff was extremely rude, hotel was musty and hot but my room was clean and comfortable and also very quiet.

my family and i all booked rooms at this hotel for our vacation (4 rooms total). my room had pubic hair in the sink and bathtub, along with holes and stains on the bed sheet. i also had a towel with blood stains on it. my sister who has 2 babies, had bed bugs in her room. we were out at the beach all day saturday, came back to shower and rest. she didn’t become aware of the bed bugs until she was actually getting ready for bed that she saw them crawling, and had blood stains on the sheets. they bit both of her babies. when we brought this to the attention of the staff, they were very rude and accused her of bringing the bed bugs with her, and also said “you’re just now noticing?” at 11pm. yes she had only just noticed because no one had been in bed or in the room all day. it wasn’t until she was getting ready to put her babies to sleep that she saw them crawling. also, how would it be possible that she brought them but no one else in our family have them? makes no sense. they told her they couldn’t give her another room because they were fully booked, but they did eventually move her down to the 2nd floor with a different room layout. my other sister’s room was a complete mess when she first checked in. the bed wasn’t made, there was no towels, and the room was dirty. we let the staff know, and the staff told her she has to request room service in the morning. absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable as it should’ve been freshened up by staff before new guests arrived.

When we checked in the front, staff was very dry, almost as if they didn’t like us or want us to be there.

The room is nice and comfortable but it is not the room I reserved.

Staff was very professional and accommodating. Property was very clean and quiet. Enjoyed my stay.

Everything was good parking was not good almost didn’t have a parking spot at somewhere I paid to stay at.

The property was nice, clean, well kept. Staff was very pleasant, courteous. Bed was comfortable and had 2 options for pillows, which was nice. No restaurants within walking distance, but that was not a problem. Plenty of restaurants, just a few minutes drive. I would book again.

Breakfast could have more options, fish tank was cloudy, pool looked clean. The room smelled wet, I later learned the boiler room has a water leak, this was near my room.

Bad smells everywhere, but am not completely sure if that was just the stank of Lake Jackson, Dow, or Texas in general. But a definite stank.

A relaxing atmosphere
