I had a good stay at the hotel, but one situation really disappointed me. A friend visited with his son, who has special sensory needs and relies on very specific, familiar food. It was obvious this wasn’t a simple preference. Even so, the staff insisted on enforcing the “no outside food” rule. We ended up having to take him to eat in the car before returning for dinner — something that felt unnecessary and quite insensitive.
Policies are important, but so is empathy and basic common sense. I genuinely hope the hotel reviews this rule so guests with special needs are treated with more understanding.
