Great location. Very clean , comfortable rooms. Plenty of parking. Nice atmosphere , plenty of seating in communal areas. Check in efficient and friendly. Disappointing evening meal,not to our taste and expectations which was noted and acted upon by staff. Breakfast, plenty of choice, both hot and cold buffet suited all tastes.

Excellent hotel within easy reach of the tourist hotspots. We booked a large 'quad' family room and were very impressed with the size. Evening meal was lovely and the full English breakfast one of the best we've had in quite a while. Staff very friendly. Would definitely return when next in the area.

The holt hotel was very pleasant and beautiful. Since its in a more rural area there were some spiders but the breakfast was fantastic and this place felt like a great getaway

Everyone was friendly.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was great and I appreciated the fan in the room. I slept well, it was quiet. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Everything was there that I wanted but the fruit was tinned, toaster didn't work well, cooked breakfast was overdone. Not awful but I've had better. That being said, for what I paid it wasn't bad value.

We stayed at this hotel just for one night we wished it was longer! Beautiful hotel, really big room and a very comfortable bed. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much. Nice tasty breakfast too Can’t wait to return!

An old coaching inn with a history of highwaymen this was a good stay for us for two nights. We had a family room with two bedrooms and shared bathroom, each with its own double bed and television. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. The Hotel also provided fans in the room as there was no air-conditioning. Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold. The restaurant was busy and we managed to book at the last minute. Location was handy for a number of local attractions within 30 minutes drive including Bicester Village, Diddly Squat farm shop and the Farmers Dog pub plus Blenheim Palace was 10 to 15 minutes away. Just across the road from the hotel is a Jet petrol station

Good place for an overnight stay when visiting Soho Farmhouse. Comfortable rooms with lovely bathroom. We have stayed here a couple of times now.

Staff were excellent . Just a shame that even in a deluxe room they don’t provide drinking water or green tea bags until you request them . And the most basic of coffee biscuits provided for one person. Not sure what the deluxe premium was for !

Nice hotel with free parking and spacious rooms. staff were friendly and helpful. the food was delicious and the afternoon tea was good and affordable... they have nice outdoor seating and it was a good base to explore the Cotswolds.

Easy check in. We did not get charged for an early check in. £30 to pre book a 12pm check in is extortionate. Either your room is available or it’s not! That aside we had a lovely stay. Clean and modern bathroom. Loved the Biscoff biscuits ( 2 each!) We ate in the restaurant and everything we had was delicious. Super service and everything was hot.

We love this hotel so much. The moment you walk in, it’s welcoming and homely. It’s decorated beautifully and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. The breakfast is so good, with a wide range of options. We can’t fault this hotel. We’ll be back each time.

Arrival and check in was all good, restaurant was good great food. We stayed with a wedding party, so we had quite a few rooms. I believe the rest of the parties rooms were fine however my room was on the second floor. We we had suitcases to carry to the second floor, large mother of the bride dresses with a large hat box and accessories. This was extremely difficult for myself because I was leaving the hotel at different times from other people. I was in a hurry with time. I’m trying to get my belongings downstairs for my transport. So please be aware if you’ll ever have a wedding party ask for rooms on the ground floor. My main issue with the room was the heat. The radiator was on max, the window was extremely small even when we turned the radiator off the heat just did not seem to go down. Coffee facilities were fine however I never understand why hotels do not leave enough milk the shower was fine however it was a very tight cubicle and trying to have some self-care was extremely hard. I am only 5 foot one and weigh 120 lb so I have no idea how larger people did it. Also, my room was in the attic roof the roof draped over the bed. This was extremely claustrophobic on top of the room being probably one of the smallest they had. Needless to say I didn’t sleep at all which wasn’t great for the day ahead. My advice is if you have a wedding party staying, think ahead unlike I did.

Great stay

On arrival check in was no bother. We stayed in a family room ( 3 adults ) which was a bit of a hike to get to. The room itself was very spacious and very clean. Amenities, tea and coffee was plenty. Only gripe was the TV was around the corner from the main double bed and viewing was awkward but other than that no problem. Breakfast was standard to be honest with plenty to choose from - nothing more to say. Would be stay again - yes and no 😁

We went to the restaurant without having booked at 19:05 without having booked a table and felt like we caused an inconvenience to the staff. Aftwr a short wait we got a table and food was delivered promptly. However I gave up on trying to order another drink after dinner even after approaching staff at the bar. I gave up in the end and asked for the bill which had a 10% gratuity added automatically which in this case wasn't deserved. The breakfast on the other hand was good. Plenty of choice and good value for money.
