Great hotel, location was brilliant with plenty close by... Hotel very clean and tidy... Breakfast is good and the food was very nice l. Only downside for us was that the bedrooms were too warm even when the A/C was on...

Clean room , spacious....brekfast need to be more varied and warer in the room available every day.

The hotel staff were great, helpful, kind and very accommodating. The rooms were done promptly and the breakfast was always top notch. The interior had high end finishes. The only negative was upon initial approach to the building the street seemed daunting and unapproachable due to the high graffiti, first impression was that it was not safe. We quickly realized that it was very safe and in a great location, close to the Opera House and St Stephen’s and the “shopping street”. Don’t let the outside street deter you, it’s well worth the stay.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were well decorated and cosy, the air conditioning worked nicely & I didn’t experience any late night noise, like some others had suggested. The reception staff were friendly & always on hand to help too. Location is great for coffee shops, bars & restaurants.

Given my fondness for opera, the location of this hotel is minutes away from one of the most lustrous opera houses in Europe. Apart from that, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful with making my visit to Budapest more enjoyable. I felt very comfortable in my stay at the Ambra Hotel.

We were on 5th floor, and room was very warm, so needed to use the air conditioning, however it was not very efficient. That is the only complaint. The room, and in fact all of the hotel was immaculate, staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Would return to this hotel if I was visiting Budapest again.

A really lovely little gem with great staff

I just stayed at the Ambra for a week and give it a very high review. The hotel staff is excellent and always helpful and efficient. The hotel is well maintained and located in a great area for local dining as well as walking to many of the historical sites.

Staff were helpful, providing tips for getting around the city during our short stay.

Just loved this hotel. The staff was so amazing and helpful. The room itself was nice, clean and modern, and what a lovely balcony. Good breakfast. And they also had an own garage. Within walking distance to sightseeings and restaurants. I would definitely be back.

Fabulous friendly staff. Very smart hotel in a central location, easy to navigate your way to the main attractions in Budapest and plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in the area. Breakfast was good, good selection and replenished very quickly
