It doesnt get better! Great staff, great breakfast, beautiful rooms, and the sound of bagpipes coming thru the window. Walkable to everywhere. One of the first stays of our 2 week trip through Scotland, and it spoiled us for everywhere else. We loved it.

The inn is beautiful and quiet despite being right in the middle of the Royal Mile historic district. That alone would have been worth five stars, but on the morning of check-out, my wife wasn’t feeling well, and while the inn was fully committed, Jayne at the front desk arranged for us to stay in the room as long as possible, connected us with a sister hotel for an early check-in, and assisted us with our bags. This was our first international trip, and we were so appreciative of Jayne’s kindness and dedication to great service. We can’t recommend this stay enough!

It was a wonderful room and staff was attentive. Cleanliness was great. We didnt read closely enough to realize that having a room on the first floor meant the luve music from the restaurant rtea waa quite noticeable. Our mistake.

Different checkin experience as it’s in the bar but don’t let this sway you, the staff are amazing, the food was great and entertainment every night was really good with it ending by midnight never kept us up! Anything you need they were there to please even taking your luggage up stairs for you and only 9 rooms! Loved this central right on the Royal Mile location is prime!!

The Inn in the Mile is the perfect location, next to a taxi hub, and located at the half point on the Mile. Very clean, the food was great, all was comfortable, and our every need was met by friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend the breakfast package to start your day with no fuss and delicious a la carte menu to order from. Stephen was especially kind and accommodating, and made our stay an absolute pleasure, along with the rest of the staff. If I visit Edinburgh again, and I will as it is a beautiful city, I will absolutely stay here again! Superb!

Amazing location and beautiful hotel. Rooms were great along with the restaurant. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.

We lived on the third floor, there’s no elevator. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very convenient location.

This is an inn with rooms as opposed to a hotel. Very centrally located on The Royal Mile. The staff were excellent, rooms large and clean.

This was a great place to stay in Edinburgh. It was very loud at night, but it felt par for the course of staying on the Royal Mile

Lively and lovely pub with a live acoustic set on the Friday we arrived. Staff were very nice too. All together a very pleasant stay and I definitely would return

My stay at Inn on the Mile was lovely. Great location and friendly staff. This was my first solo international trip and was nice to have sych a positive experience.

The bar next door was noisy. They were out of eggs for breakfast. It is on the Royal Mile.

A small room with a bed that is far to big for that room....No central heating and run out of hot water when in the shower. Shower extract fan is in need of cleaning as is the toilet brush which is stinking. Windows are desperately need sortiing ....overall disappointing for the money but that is typical of these so called premium hotels...all looks good but the smaller details are overlooked and la k attention.

Great stay. Very central and very nice rooms.

Just had breakfast there once,which was okay. The double room was quite nice. I was on my own though and I think it would have been a bit of a squash for 2 people. The downstairs area was pub like so a bit disappointing that there wasn’t a lounge for my friend and I to spend time together in the evening ( who was also staying there) That’s probably something we should have realised though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of them carried our luggage up the steep stairs which was good. Very handy for sightseeing etc.

This is a unique hotel in a fabulous location. However it is three rooms to a floor and has nine floors but NO elevator!!! We were assigned a room on the 9th floor! However the bar staff assisted us with all our luggage.

Great location and extremely accessible to the whole area. Coupled with the hop-on Hop-off system was great to explore. The Inn was very helpful with relocating to the first floor above the restaurant after the first night. A knee replacement was prohibitive above that. Staff was great! And, breakfast was the best. Akso, best lattes in town.
