Excellent little hotel with beautiful relaxing grounds. Few amenities. Above average staff.

Rufflets is an absolute gem of a hotel! It has the charming feel of a countryside inn, with all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel. The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond all expectations. The room was spacious, nicely appointed, with a modern bathroom. The hotel features a lovely restaurant featuring fine cuisine, cozy sitting spaces near fireplaces, a bar that is a great place to unwind, and lovely gardens.In short, Rufflets is a superb hotel I highly recommend!

This was a stunningly beautiful and peaceful property. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

When I arrived at 8pm there was no one at front desk, also the front desk was a table. I had to get the restaurant/bar staff to check me in after hitting the bell twice over 5-10mins. The hotel feels family run and has charm, however the service received was not great, It seems like they were short-staffed. Great breakfast to choose from and the room was comfortable.

We stayed in the gate house, which was amazing. Spacious accommodations with a separate living room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property was beautiful. Great breakfast.

We appreciated the warm greeting at reception and personal escort to our room. The family suite where we stayed was spacious and allowed for kids and adults to each have some privacy. We enjoyed a pleasant walk through the gardens, especially a peek at the kitchen garden to see what produce was being grown.

All the staff very extremely helpful and professional. We stayed in the gatehouse with our dog which was ideal. Our only issues were the works required in the bathroom, there has obviously been a leek at some point the wall paper is coming away and the ceiling is stained, the tiles on the on the shower floor are loose and could cause an injury.

This property was fabulous. The staff was excellent, rooms were spacious and an overall beautiful property. Very quick taxi ride to town. Would definitely stay here again.

Such an amazing property, with English charm, amazing staff, great food and the ladies at the front were so accommodating! We felt right at house. We stayed in the mallard cabin family suite and it was so neat!

Lovely experience all around. The property is gorgeous. Our rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast scrumptious. There is a cozy bar, perfect for a night cap. While it is a short distance from Andrew’s downtown, totally worth the spacious rooms and lovely gardens.
