Center Hotels Klapparstígur is GREAT! Faruq and the entire staff are excellent. Very helpful, pleasant, kind and customer focused. Some hotels are just a money grab but this Reasonably priced property is a great value especially when you consider the service! Definitely going back to Reykjavík and staying here again.

Great property, but our room was in front of the pub and it was very loud until 3am. Very difficult to sleep. Additionally, the temperature was very hot inside the room.

The room was small but it was clean plus there was a mini fridge and TV. For the price and it being downtown you can’t beat it. The staff was super friendly and helpful too. They gave me a map and coupon book for things to do in Reykjavík.

The hotel was great and in a very good location. Farooq was amazing at the front desk. He was always willing to help with questions, had awesome suggestions of what to do, where to visit and actually booked excursions and transportation to make life easier for us! He truly was second to none! A great experience!

Great stay in central Reykjavik.

My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I had no issues with my room. It is smaller than hotel standards in North America, but it was large enough for me as a solo traveller. The staff were very helpful at answering my questions , they have lots of information about what to do in Reykjavik, restaurant recommendations and they are very considerate and eager to help if you need it.

Didn't actually stay at this location as there was a water issue when we arrived. They placed us in a sister property nearby with an upgraded room and a couple other perks. Very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to stay to experience Reykjavik!!! Close to a lot of pickups for day tours. By a bunch of restaurants, bars, and main attractions. Staff was helpful and called taxis for us. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable, though the outside noise from nearby pubs was quite loud into the early morning hours on weekends. The staff was very helpful and nice.
