Hotel central to the West End of Aberdeen only a short walk from the centre. Staff were excellent, professional and friendly always willing to help. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of both hot and cold offerings. Would certainly use this hotel again when I’m in Aberdeen.

The bar had an excellent selection and everything was well maintained and up to date.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bar is limited but adequate. The breakfast was disappointing in food quality.

An excellent location, so close to Union Street, and with off-road parking (if booked in advance). Staff were very good, hotel was very quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. A real bargain.

Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was great although I didn’t see the fruit juices getting refilled. It was a weekend so late breakfast time was quite busy.

The hotel is in an excellent location just off Union Street with lots of little cafes and different shops around it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, whilst the room is clean and comfortable. A gluten free breakfast included in the price is an added bonus!

Great central hotel

The staff at check in insist the email on the booking page is not mine and then aggressively want my card on file without explanation! I understand this is standard but he needs to explain everything to a customer, besides I believe leaving cc details is no longer a practice!

Contacted property via in app message service and have still had no reply (still waiting)……not like their usual excellent level of service

We stayed in the Holiday Inn for 4 nights from Tuesday 30th of December 2025 to Saturday 3rd of January 2026. We weren't impress with the incidental pre-payment as we felt unwelcome by this. This is not a British standard. It is an imported Americanism which is not wanted. Overall, it was a good night stay in the Holiday Inn, Aberdeen. The hotel is in the city centre, walkable to the shops and lots of restaurants to choose from. The staff were presents, good service. Tanya

Good breakfast and close to the square.

Room was good, very clean. Only issue i had was sleep, pillows not comfortable.

I booked via hotels dot com and was told that parking was £10...when I arrived they told me it was £12 but said they would charge me £10 which they did...however I now find that they also charged my card the extra £2 quietly overnight !!!! Devious bandits!!!
