Staff were awesome! Hotel is beautiful. Would stay again. Beds were super comfortable. Best sleep we got in Italy. This resort was a nice break from the city visits. The spa was nice, but the open hours made it difficult to plan days to visit areas like Pisa and Florence and spend time there without missing the spa closing. We did not have breakfast or lunch at the resort but we did have dinner. As someone who is accustomed to fine dining, it was disappointing. Food was under seasoned and lacked depth of flavor. I would definitely stay here again! Just next time venture down the way 5 minutes to a local restaurant. ☺️

Rooms are very dusty

Hot springs are warm at best mid 90’s Grotto experience was not impressive or worth the cost.

Wasted a whole day going from Rome to Florence just to take a train rent a car and go to the hotel to have to wait an hour to check in, be told conflicting information on where to wait, and order food that was absolutely horrible. I took one bite waited for my husband to taste his and right away said we will take the check and ran to get our bags and leave. We did not even stay or pick up our room keys. We went right back to the train station returned the rental and took the next train back to Rome to eat real food. There’s nothing around the hotel so their food being bad and us not eating all day after a wonderful food experience in Rome there was no way we were waiting for their dinner or prepaid breakfast I added to my reservation. A waste of money. The place is beautiful but the experience not worth it.

Incredible facilities, rooms are cleaned really well, staff are always very attentive. To be able to access the grotta is a real highlight, it's an incredible place, much bigger than expected and the facilities are again outstanding. Spa had a lot of choice, the outdoor swimming pools were unexpected given we visited in December and it was never too busy, often it was just us. There are also lots of hiking options from just next to the property, starting from inside the hotel grounds.

My stay felt like heaven. I planned it smack in the middle of city hopping thru europe. The staff made sure all our needs and wants were met. The outdoor heated pool was to die for. The grotta was interesting and the massages!! Book it if you are thinking about it just book it.

Beautiful property and location

The floating experience in the grotto is a must! What an incredible once in a lifetime opportunity! The property is wonderful & the experience was incredible!

The aircondition didn´t work. The room was like a freezer, and we couldn´t stop it.

Very nice hotel. Excellent service, and the convenience of the Spa in the property. We were given an upgrade to a very comfortable Jr Suite.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were cozy, and the staff was very welcoming. The highlight was definitely the grotto - a peaceful and unique experience that made the trip unforgettable. I’d love to return!

Room was a little bit rundown

Fabulous hotel with options for daily activities. Food delicious, fresh, plentiful and not too pricey. Service excellent fabulous staff so accommodating. Plenty of quiet areas to relax and enjoy the ambiance. Sharing a holiday with my cousin for her 60th, starting with a beautiful but hectic schedule in Rome and decided to enjoy this beautifully constructed/decorated hotel and its facilities. Didn’t need to venture to local Caves as enjoyed the hotel so much. Probably suit a relaxing break rather than a sight seeing option..imo…😬

Beautiful property. Building is outstanding. Cave underneath the hotel is stunning. Good breakfast. Nice gym. Nice pool. My only criticism is that the spa could have been better maintained and staffed. It was the only part of the experience that was not 5 star.

The shower floor had hair in it, a used floss was left on the scale. I told the front desk to have the bathroom cleaned again but they did not do anything.

Stunning property, remote and a true Tuscan experience. You couldn’t get any better for a perfect couples retreat in a amazing setting with amazing facilities and staff to care for you.

This is a fabulous property with unique things to do that you simply cannot find anywhere else!! The cave is a must. There are swimming pools and saunas and steam room. Plus a whole host of personal body treatments. Also the grounds have hiking trails. Close to very good small restaurants and great area historical sites. Treat yourself to this amazing place at least once.

We had part of my bachelorette week at this spa and loved all of the services. We had dinner at the hotel twice and everything was delicious. The staff was so friendly and even provided us with a bottle of complimentary champagne on our first night to celebrate! Everything was perfect and a great break from the busy streets in Rome!
