Staff was great. Friendly. There were two instances where the cleaning team did not get a chance to clean our room because they were running behind on other rooms. The rooms need some work and better maintenance. They didn’t feel quite clean when we arrived. Food needs improvement.

The staff was attentive and the hotel itself is a comfortable stay! I stayed 4 nights and felt safe the entire time. The hotel food is good as well! They also offer transportation to the closest beach.

It was a wonderful time as a family our stay at Villasol. Staff were very attentive and helpful with tips and accommodating with our requests. Really good Mexican food at their restaurant. We’ll love to stay with them again.

We loved the property for the location. And the clean room. Reason I took 1 star office because the picture on the Expedia website is not the actual pool. The pool in the photo is located 10 minutes walk to the beach club which is additional 1200 pesos per day to use. Please update the actual photos of the hotel not the additional facilities that are located on a different site.

Clean room and close to beach.

The hotel is very pleasant and the staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are basic and clean. The gym was small but just the right amount of machines. The restaurant is convenient and has a good menu with quality food.

Used to love this hotel, it’s a small well maintained traditional hotel. However this time we found out they sold their beach club and now they charge over a hundred dollars per day to get in. Having access to the beach club as a guest was what made the entire experience great. Now not so much, we might not come back.

Paid for a room with two beds. 3 days stay. Upgraded to have a balcony Showed up and gave us a room without a balcony. wouldn't refund the upgrade. Expedia gave us a $25 credit.

Excelente estancia

Hotel looks nice from the outside and is in a good area for walking to restaurants and the beach; however, customer service isn’t great, we had a bunch of cockroaches that kept coming into our room, when we asked to get a new room they said they had none available even though 20 mins later they called us saying that they did have one so they just lied to us twice when we asked to switch (this was at around 11pm). Staff was not attentive at all, we saw them on their phones or just talking to one another when we needed to get their attention to get service at the restaurant. Would not recommend.

The property itself was okay, but the staff was rude and made the experience uncomfortable. I expected better customer service, and because of that, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Breakfast w as great. Room was clean. Staff was very courteous and responsive.

It is a very nice clean hotel with friendly staff. However, there were a few things about it that I did not like. There is no soundproofing. You can hear everything happening outside, in the hallways, and furniture dragging in the rooms above you. The pool was very hot. It felt like a hot tub. It was not comfortable. They offer pool towels. The towels are clean, but they smell bad from overuse. The food was overpriced for the buffet and some items from the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was mediocre.

Beautiful property, delicious breakfast, wonderful staff. I marked it three stars because we did not sleep all of Saturday night. There is a bar across the street. The music was blaring until four am. We were told it would be quiet Sunday and it was. The ear plugs and pillows couldn’t hide the noise.
