This hotel is currently a construction site, which came as a shock after a long drive from the UK. While the guest rooms themselves appear as shown in the photos and seem to have been completed, the rest of the hotel is still undergoing significant renovation works. The restaurant and bar are housed in a temporary structure. Although functional, it felt very basic and not what one would expect from a finished hotel. On check-in, we were initially allocated a room that had not been cleaned or prepared. We were moved to another room, but this was a disappointing start to our stay. We were also informed that rooms are not cleaned daily due to an eco policy. While I fully support environmentally friendly initiatives, this felt more like a cost-saving measure than a genuine sustainability effort. At check-out, we were asked to pay the city tax again, despite having already paid it at check-in, which caused further frustration. Most disappointing was the lack of transparency during the booking process. There was no mention on Expedia that the hotel was undergoing major construction. Had this been clearly stated, we could have made an informed decision about whether we wanted to spend a weekend in a hotel still under renovation.

The best stay that I have ever had in the Netherlands!!! I will be staying there again and highly recommend the hotel!

As new construction is going, on, Gym/ sport is unavailable,,, and should be removed of this facilities from the Internet Site...

Stayed at the hotel with friends for Dordt in Stoom event . Ideally located , close to bus stop that takes you in 10 mins to town . Just one remark : breakfast selection was great . However on weekdays the breakfast buffet closes promptly at 09:00. I find that to be to early

I liked the location but people was smoking by the front entrance and there were cigarette butts left all over. They need to empty the can every day.

The room safe broken. It took them 2 day and 3 requests to fix it. Then on the last night I came to my room to find that the house keeping HAD LEFT ROOM DOOR OPEN ALL DAY. I Also found other room doors open. After I approached the management all I got was sorry. We will talk with them. I booked this room so I can get some rest. The doors are extremely loud that in the middle of the night I kept hearing banging all night. Again I was told sorry as they had a wedding... anyway Not staying there again.

Stayed this hotel for 3 night on business trip, convenient place with free secure parking, only disadvantage is toilet / shower facilities is very small,

We were given a free upgrade on arrival, I am not sure what the original room would have been like because the upgrade was what I would call standard.
