My wife recently stayed at the hotel with her friend, and she had nothing but praise for the experience. Hearing such positive feedback truly made me happy. I would particularly like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Luc Lavoie for his exceptional kindness and thoughtful service.

The morning breakfast was only continental. It got a bit repetitive after a few days. Being that it was an older building, it could be noisy until 3 AMon the weekends while trying to sleep. Otherwise everything was awesome. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was unbelievable. Our room was super clean.

The hotel was charming and perfectly located for sight seeing Old Montreal and the arts district. Our room was clean, comfortable and roomy. The restaurant was excellent. Staff was helpful and courteous. This was our first visit to Montreal and we'd highly recommend.

Comfortable and clean

Beautiful hotel and a convenient location! The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and plenty of space. Our room overlooked the beautiful courtyard of the Basilica too. A wonderful place that also had a gorgeous restaurant and the hotel was able to recommend a parking area for us as well. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Liked the intimate feel of the property and all the wonderful staff. Was disappointed in the size of our room. The room at our stay 10 yrs. ago was much more spacious. Also disappointed in the boxed breakfast; nothing like having breakfast in your lovely dining ro.

The Bonaparte is a beautiful hotel in an incredible part of Montreal. The front desk staff was friendly and so helpful! The room was exquisite and matched the historical atmosphere. The restaurant served delicious meals with care. I highly recommend!

Friendly staff, great location and a nice room.

What a lovely hotel! From the amazing staff greeting us and helping us park next door, to the impeccable service and beautiful decor, this is a gem of a hotel, located just steps from all of the great shopping, galleries and cafes that which Montréal is known. And to add a wonderful French restaurant just an elevator ride away made our stay extra special!

We will stay here again.

Great place in the hart of old Montreal. Nice, spacious very clean and comfortable rooms. Everyone is helpful and welcoming. Great place stay in Montreal.

Lovely stay at Bonaparte. The room was comfortable and clean. Complimentary croissant delivery for breakfast was the best. Staff very nice. Just don’t get your hopes up for the welcome drink—it’s just carbonated apple cider!

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Sabrina at the reception desk was so kind and efficient in arranging for a rollaway bed when we needed it. Thanks for such great service. Gloria Barbacoff

Very good hotel. Room was really hot. The parking lot next to it and the businesses across the street had some rough looking guys hanging around them. The lot attendants were very nice though and looked like they could handle any trouble.

Beautiful space with nicely designed washroom. Great location and parking right next door.

“Fatima was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. Although I could have waited for housekeeping the next day—since my kids tend to make a mess with their snacks—I asked to borrow a broom and dustpan because housekeeping had already left for the day. Instead, Fatima insisted on coming to our room to clean both floors, even though she didn’t have to. We had a connecting room, and her willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference. Not only was Fatime amazing, but the entire staff was also exceptional. Everyone was kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It’s service like this that keeps guests coming back!
