Perfect overnight stopover.

The equivalent of a Travelodge in the UK this chain of motel style hotels is perfect for a one night stop over. The staff were kind and the selection of food for dinner was good. Breakfast was brilliant.

Comfortable safe parking

Was OK, room clean, but basic, things like no washbasin plug and AC that doesn’t cool the room do grate a bit. Food was basic but OK and reasonable. Booked on hotels.com but room was more expensive than shown and was poor value in the end..

Good access from motorway

No dinner option at the restaurant.

I liked the fact there was a kettle in the room and they offered an evening meal, very important on a Sunday

The room smelled of smoking. The pillows were much too soft. The staff were really nice.

Perfect hotel for a stop-off on way down to Perpignan. Hotel is just off the motorway, staff are friendly and room is clean and warm. Great value.

Service with a smile from the very helpful Marie. I didn’t want to have breakfast but she invited me to come in for a complimentary coffee in the morning; it’s the little things that count. I also appreciated having a bath as well as a shower. The provision of a kettle in the room was great too.

Had an issue on arrival but management sorted it very quickly. Would stay here again.

Very close to the motorway and a Carrefour petrol station. About 20 mins walk into the old centre of Issoire. The hotel is great for a stopover when travelling down to the Mediterranean. it functional rather than luxurious. We’ve stayed there many times and always had a good experience. Definitely recommend it.

Fine hotel for a night off a round about

Just off the main road but very quiet. Food was excellent,

The welcome at reception (Oliver, I think) was fantastic - a really polite & kind gentleman. He made sure our arrival and stay was as relaxing as possible. There wasn’t, however, enough staff to cater for the (very busy) dinner service. We did not complain as we could see the staff were doing everything possible and working hard. However, after 40 mins wait, we decided to eat elsewhere. We also felt the air conditioning could do with a service as it seemed to really struggle in the (admittedly exceptionally) hot weather. This was our second visit and overall we were pleased with our stay. We love the location as it’s a perfect stop off during our Spain to UK drive. Close to the motorway and a hyper market.

Great stay friendly and helpful staff Only thing no shutter on one of our bedrooms

The usual Campanile formula: free parking, room of a good size with plenty of space for bags, some hanging space, bath/shower and free wifi. Just what was needed. It was only a short walk into Issoire town centre. The restaurant provided a good choice of meals and wine for a reasonable price. The restaurant staff were very welcoming and the service very efficient.
