I really liked staying at Cihangir hotel. The room was very clean . The staff was very friendly and also breakfast was good too!

Staff made extra effort for my birthday They arranged a cake for my friend and we cwlebrated on my rooms balcony. Steps away from Taxim and in the residential area of Cihangir.

Hospitable, great location, safe

Balcony rooms have a nice view. Steps away to Beyoğlu and restaurants in cihangir. The orange trees were blooming nearby filling the street with beautiful perfume. My favorite place in Istanbul.

very nice place to stay

The hotel was in a bad location. Mid-way up a mountain. I was deceived into thinking the hotel had a view over the lake because the advertisement showed a view. The room was small. I booked a room with two beds and got a room with a double bed. The 2nd night we were moved to an accessible room with 2 beds. The breakfast was great. The property was hard to reach, especially by night. The taxis did not want to go there. We had to walk out the streets to get taxis. We had to pay extra to return to the hotel one night. The hotel called several times for taxis for us, but each time, none was available. I regretted staying there.

Beautiful hotel for the price

Very friendly staff. Genuinely caring and helpful. They went extra to keep our luggage for a couple of days in their storage while we were traveling to other city. Breakfasts had a rich menu with many options, and, nice and friendly staff too.

I loved my stay

The entire first floor was a demolition zone when I arrived: dust and pieces of dry wall all over the floor. Reception was temporarily on the second. My first room’s heat was broken. They were very nice about quickly moving me to another room. Unfortunately the whole place smelled strongly of overly perfumed cleaning supplies masking smoke.

Close to cruise ship terminal and shopping area such as grand bazaar. Metro is close by and convenient. Very clean rooms with good customer service. We enjoyed our stay

The view and location was great however the rooms can be too small

The service of all staff I encountered was personal, respectful and effective. Location is amazing. Just a few minutes from Taksim square, tucked away in a small and dead quiet cul-de-sac. Breakfast starts early -- 7 a.m. and is in the newly-refurbished 6th floor dining room with sweeping views of the Bosphorus.
