We stayed at Targhee for a quiet end of a long trip, our room was nice, other than there was a wedding reception happening outside of our room which would have been fine but there is no AC in some of the rooms and we had to have the window open, when we brought the concern up to the front desk they were more than helpful they had no other rooms other than ones that slept 10+. We spoke with Pete the head of security and he assured us they would be toned down at the 10pm quiet time. He upkeep his end and also told us about some places he frequents off the beaten path around the area. The second night was

The property was not handicapped accessible, lots of stairs with no hand rail, showers with slippery floors, rude checkin staff and in our rooms there also was No air-conditioning, no microwave, hard beds, and you has to walk to the next building for ice. We checked out a day early because of the condition of the room.

I love the view is beautiful. I don’t like the floors were dusty. Please quality control make sure to wipe the floors before ready to occupy

Stayed here for 2 nights. This place is a little older with minimal dining options for the summer. It served us well except for the food options. Needs some updates to be more presentable. Everything about this place is dated but looked like they are building some new buildings.

Nice place for family

We really enjoyed the resort. There was a wedding going on til at least 11pm with amplified music (which apparently is very common in the summer months) and the parking situation is not ideal for hotel guests, as there is just one lot for everyone, which this weekend included wedding guests, mountain bikers, trail runners, and more. The rooms are adequate, typical ski lodge accommodations with the typical heavy wear for such lodgings.

Book with caution. Trails were closed our entire time due to events. Amenities do not keep up with the amount of people. Pool is overpacked and kids activities are overpriced. Rooms are old and staff caters to those there for events over resort guests. It is a beautiful location but read cautiously so you are prepared.

Very nice resort

This was a pretty old resort. The room did smell a little off but when we opened the windows that helped. The bed was pretty uncomfortable but was not the worst. Staff was very nice and helpful when we found the fridge didn't work they replaced it for us. The area was really cool to do activities around while staying here. We did a couple cool hikes and it was pretty remote we felt a lot more comfortable then in Jackson Hole. We saw the Tetons from the top of the chair lift. And we also saw two baby black bears on one hike.
