Great stay! As a solo traveler, I felt safe, and the room was spacious for Paris. The shower is strong, bed very comfortable, with free mini bar water/juice and a nice coffee/snack bar in the lobby. Convenient location near restaurants and metro (though a short hill walk), and the front desk was very accommodating with room placement.

More sound proofing in all rooms. It was very loud when our neigbhbours were using the bathroom or talking on the phone

The hotel desk clerk was warm, friendly, and made us feel welcome right away. The location was easy to find, and the breakfast was excellent, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There are a few stairs in the hallway leading to the rooms, so guests with mobility issues may want to plan accordingly. Overall, it was a lovely and comfortable stay!

There are several excellent restaurants located near the hotel. Metro, cleaners, small grocery shops, and a pharmacy are all nearby. It is an easy walk to the Moulin Rouge, which is surrounded by tourist shops and many other stores. Breakfast is basic with the hot dish (scrambled egg vs. omlet and then two sides) repeats every other day but we all found something to eat each day. They have fruit as well. In the evening they have a snack bar with sodas and water. The snacks were impressive and really helped us during our tours. There is also a small tabletop ice machine. The promised gift/tour was a business card, and you had to go to another location to exchange the card for the gift/tour. Our card was for a gift. We didn't have the time or the desire to go. We did not know if it would end up as one of those upsale things or worse so not worth our effort.

Loved how kid friendly this place was! We had everything we needed and walked all over to restaurants, shopping and sight seeing! We would definitely stay again.

It is not fancy, the rooms are small... But it is clean, AC, mini bar, incredible double pane windows so quiet on a vibrant street, comfortable bed, staff super nice, complimentary snack and coffee . For the price it is definitely a 5 star

It only needed air conditioning. Other than that it was a nice affordable hotel.

Great location and very clean.

Excellent customer service, very clean property with outstanding housekeeping staff and great location to restaurants and proximity to attractions. Upon check in at 1am I was assigned room 202. Upon entering room, 2 guests were in bed. After awakening guests I immediately closed door, returned to front desk to notify them of their mistake. I was then assigned room 222. Having 4 suitcases I realized that to get to my room the elevator goes up 1 floor, exit the elevator, walk down the hall towards room 114 then go up the spiral stairs to 222. After traveling for over 15 hours all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. NO HOT WATER. I notified front desk after getting a few hours sleep only to be told that the entire building was without hot water and that this should have been brought to my attention upon check in. After returning from visiting attractions and over 2 days without a shower I was happy to hear that we now had hot water. The last night of my 4 nights stay I turned on the hot water pot which resulted in a blown fuse that affected that also affected the TV and the lamp. This issue was corrected in an hour. The room was very small but clean and comfortable. Other than the issue mentioned above my stay at the Hotel George was OK. With the issues I experienced with no hot water, no elevator to room and blown fuse, the amount spent for this 4 nights stay was definitely not worth it. Again, professional customer service and housekeeping staff.
