The hotel is in a very convenient central location. The overall atmosphere is good, and it has complete facilities. The restaurant in the hotel is good. Getting from the hotel to various places is very convenient. It's close to the train station, and there's an airport bus stop right in front of the hotel. You can book the bus and wait in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. The staff are willing to help and provide excellent service. For added convenience, the airport bus stop in front of the hotel is very convenient. The price is good; it's considered a very good value for a centrally located hotel. The biggest highlight is the airport bus stop in front of the hotel, making it very convenient for travel to and from the airport.

Review of Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main, Tokyo. Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main offers a practical and comfortable stay in one of Tokyo’s most convenient districts. Located in West Shinjuku, near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the hotel is well positioned for both sightseeing and business travel. It is about an 8-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station, and the underground passageway is especially helpful on rainy days. The Airport Limousine Bus stop at the hotel is another major advantage for international travelers. Location and Accessibility. The location is one of the hotel’s strongest points. Guests can easily reach shopping areas, restaurants, department stores, and major train connections in Shinjuku. Although the walk from the station may feel slightly long after a busy day, the area is safe, organized, and convenient. The hotel is particularly suitable for travelers who want easy access to central Tokyo while staying in a quieter part of Shinjuku. Room Quality. The rooms are clean, functional, and equipped with essential facilities such as a work desk, refrigerator, air conditioning, private bathroom, and internet access. As is common in Tokyo, standard rooms are rather compact, especially for guests traveling with large luggage or staying as a family. However, the room layout is efficient and comfortable enough for short to medium stays. Cleanliness and Comfort. Cleanliness is generally well maintained. Many recent guests have praised the tidy rooms and good overall condition of the property. While some areas of the hotel may feel slightly dated, the atmosphere remains professional and dependable. It is a good choice for travelers who prioritize convenience, cleanliness, and reliability over luxury. Breakfast and Dining. Breakfast is one of the hotel’s most appreciated features. Guests frequently mention the generous buffet selection, which includes both Japanese and international dishes. The hotel also has several restaurants and food op

It is a good choice for travelers who prioritize convenience, cleanliness, and reliability over luxury. Breakfast and Dining. Breakfast is one of the hotel’s most appreciated features. Guests frequently mention the generous buffet selection, which includes both Japanese and international dishes. The hotel also has several restaurants and food options within the building, making dining easy after a long day of travel. This is especially convenient for guests who prefer not to go far for meals. Facilities and Services. The hotel offers practical services that make the stay smoother, including luggage handling, laundry services, a taxi stand, and access to convenience stores and dining outlets within or near the building. The Airport Limousine Bus connection is a major plus. Staff service is generally efficient and polite, although the large scale of the hotel can sometimes make the experience feel less personal than in smaller boutique properties. Value for Money. Considering its location, transportation access, breakfast quality, and range of facilities, Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main provides solid value for money in central Tokyo. It may not be ideal for travelers seeking spacious rooms or a highly luxurious atmosphere, but it is very suitable for tourists, solo travelers, couples, and business guests who want a dependable hotel in a strategic location. Overall Impression. Overall, Shinjuku Washington Hotel Main is a reliable and convenient hotel with excellent access to transportation, good breakfast, clean rooms, and useful on-site services. Its greatest strengths are location and practicality. The main drawback is the limited room size, which is typical for Tokyo but worth noting before booking. For travelers who want to stay in Shinjuku with easy connections across Tokyo, this hotel is a very good option.

The heating control in the room could not be adjusted, causing the room to not be warm at night, especially since the weather was still very cold in Shinjuku in March 2026.

Generally, I'm quite happy with the time I stayed there. They don't clean your room every day, but they will help you change towels, make the bed, and throw out the rubbish, which I was so happy about because it is quite difficult to locate a public rubbish bin. Had to bring rubbish back quite often. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku Station. Waiting for the elevator in the morning ate a lot of time. Get around it by going up to come down, otherwise you can't get a spot. :)

Great location. It was close to the subway and train station within walking distance. It was also very close to the park. Therefore, we could have time to enjoy the park and exercise.

Reception is self-service mode. The officer there only helps you to check in by yourself.

The room has a fairly spacious layout and can accommodate opening two large suitcases at the same time. The staff are friendly, and there are several very helpful supporting facilities such as laundry services, a mini market, and an airport bus that stops directly in front of the hotel

The room is a bit small but clean, the staff is friendly and there is a coin laundry, Lawson and Family Mart too so it's not difficult to get around.

The hotel staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful in resolving any misunderstandings travelers may have. The hotel is centrally located, about a 10-15 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. Amenities are complete (toothbrush, comb, hand and body lotion, sheet mask, facial wash, sleep mask, etc.), and the limousine bus passes by.

The location is incredibly convenient. Instead of taking the train and lugging our luggage, we took a limousine bus from Narita, which stopped right in front of the hotel. The hotel is also conveniently located near Shinjuku Station.
