Great location in the centre, but is also quiet at night, though if you are in a front facing room you will hear them setting out tables in the Square from around 6ish.
The bed is extremely comfortable. The room we were in was very good. Staff were helpful.
The only things to be aware of are - breakfast. It is very poor in terms of quality and also its quite cold in terms of the welcome you get. No one says hello, shows you to a table etc for example. The granola is possibly the worst granola I have ever tasted and the other options aren't great either. But there are excellent breakfast venues just a short walk away - the one just past the steps of shame next to the school is great for example. Secondly, it's never clear when/if the restaurants are open. They weren't when we were there despite good weather and having booked one of them. Finally, there are no tea making facilities, which for us as big tea drinkers was a bit of a shame.
Overall though, a good hotel. I don't think you would do better within the walls.
