This was a nice hotel with an interesting history. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately we were here in the transition from their winter to summer season & it was unusually warm weather. The room was stifling as the a/c couldn’t be turned on. They did try to help us but to no avail. We did appreciate the early check-in and the great breakfast.

Hotel had unique charm. Room was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was included and nice selection of items. Parking is very limited and involves a lift to a small underground parking garage. Staff was very accommodating but we found easier to park on the street and pay the parking meter (few dollars), Great location to bars, restaurants, mall and botanical gardens all within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is in a great location for walking, the front desk staff was exceptionally helpful, and the breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and functional. The only downside was a bit of outside noise at night at intermittent times. Overall, we would stay again.

This is a beautiful and well located hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful, especially Carlos. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

The staff were wonderful and were able to accommodate us into our room early. The location is in the center of historic city centre and walking distance to most city attractions. The breakfast buffet was small but had most items needed to give a good start for the day.

Hotel Do Colegio is highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! The hotel is centrally located, extremely convenient, and walkable to everything we wanted to see in the old city center. The breakfast was a highlight each morning, and the staff was truly wonderful and attentive throughout our stay. While the old-city location makes parking extremely challenging, the hotel was incredibly proactive in supporting us, offering innovative garage and street parking options that made it manageable.

The breakfast was amazing, front desk team was impeccable. Johanna and Carlos went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

I stayed at this hotel with my son just one night but I would really comeback at this property if we will comeback in Azores..

This is a refurbished older building that was modern inside with a few touches of the past in the lobby area. It was very convenient for catching tours that met you just at the corner of the street as the streets themselves are too narrow for the vans. The breakfast buffet was terrific with many options. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean and contemporary. Helpful desk staff.

Le déjeuner est excellent; le personnel courtois. Pour un hôtel de ce prix près du centre je me serait attendu à une chambre impeccable. Crochet salle de bain brisé, bouche aération très sale et pas insonorisation entre les chambres. L’eau de la piscine est si froide que l’on ne peut y rester bref 3 étoiles pour moi

Are stay was excellent. Only thing I would recommend is the pool should be heated as it was very cold.

Nice hotel, excellent location, walking distance to many bars, and restaurants.

Greatest pizza place right on the corner. Staff was really nice and helpful. Downtown was a 3 minute walk.
