The resort is not bad. The grounds are well kept. The hotel lacks service. There is no pool side services nor room service which is unlike any hotel in PV. When you are pool side, you sort of have to chase the bartender on wheels to get your drink.

Great stay if you don’t need all the extras. The pools were warm but the staff was wonderful!

While we were at the pool 2 of our friends had their phones and bags stolen from the grounds of the resort. Other than that the property is clean and well kept.

I liked the beauty of the grounds. I've stayed at Riu Hotels before. This particular Riu was not up to par especially when compared to Cancun's. The staff was not prepared for the sold out week. It took 1 1/2 hour to receive sheets for our pull out bed as we received a one King and pull out couch instead of the requested double bedroom (which we were ok with, we are a go with the flow family). We had to request EVERYTHING from silverware to refills of water. I was told that yes they had lattes at the bar near the entrance, but they were closed and I could get one myself. My meal's eggplant still had the sticker on it. If a complaint was made (I heard others) they asked for your room number and marked it down without fixing the issue as well as being told, because you booked through Expedia it's not our issue. We had one server who was great, he received generous tips that we were prepared to hand out as we received above and beyond service in Cancun also through Expedia.

This is by far the Worst RIU I have ever experienced. The staff were rude and were not very kind. I went with tip money and came back with most of it. Our cleaning lady was great though! That is one place I will not return. One thing I will add though, the entertainment needs to be upgraded. I see the same show every time I visit a RIU! They’ve become redundant.

The food was not good at all. The private restaurant was not as good as was expected in the restaurant. It was no air condition in the hot weather.

Great family stay, but food and room credit were disappointing Overall, we had a great stay as a family. The resort facilities were consistently clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. However, as noted in many other reviews, the food left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a single meal during the week that stood out as truly enjoyable. Another major disappointment was the advertised $500 room credit. It was extremely misleading — there was very little guidance on how to actually use it, and it ended up being more of a marketing gimmick than a real benefit. With a few improvements, especially around dining and transparency, this could be a top-tier experience.

Absolutely the worst food I’ve ever had at a resort in Mexico. Barely edible. Survived on scraps for my entire trip. The restaurants say they don’t close until 930, but when we would arrive around 8 o’clock, they would say they were full for the night. Also, absolutely ridiculous that the pools close as early as they do. They also allowed day passes, so the resort is extra packed. Just SOO many better places to stay.

We had a delay and Expedia and I had followed all the steps that we needed to arrive there late they gave away our rooms and we had to be all split up and at that we didn’t have a room for the last day and still paid the same price. We felt like we were inconveniencing the workers when we would ask for drinks, even during meals after waiting for 45 minutes for the steakhouse, we were told that they didn’t have a table for our group not even on the waiting list so we never got to eat at the steakhouse the facilities is nice and very clean, but would not be staying there again!

We love Riu hotel but this one definitely the worst one. Buffet food was not good and same food everyday . Swimming pools were so small also not lots of activities. We won’t go back there again .

We went in the low season but it was still super crowded. We had to wait in line for everything, the bathroom outside, breakfast in the morning, towels, everything just too many people. The service is very impersonal and not really friendly but that is probably just because it's over crowded. The food is not very good if you are particular about food but that's most all inclusives. If you're more into drinking alot and eating whatever than it's good for you but we dont really drink so all inclusive wasn't really worth it for us.

Great stay. My first in all inclusive. Really quite excellent. This art deco property has a certain amount of class. Service was excellent. Food is “good” I recommend sticking to fresh fruits etc. overall I was very impressed and would choose again. Service was consistently very polite and cheerful!
