Great hotel right in city centre. Spacious room, enen equipped with fan much-needed during a heatwave. Dined in the bar/restaurant each night of our weekend stay. Food was very good.

It's a nice hotel, but it isn't the nicest area - wouldn't have wanted to park my car in the street. Fortunately the hotel have their own car park which we were grateful to use. It was conveniently located for restaurants / bars going out in the evening and a pleasant place to stay.

Room was perfect and staff great . Very good breakfast . The wifi could do with an upgrade as the signal very weak at times

Great location to explore the city. We arrived by train, the hotel was just across the river. The cultural attractions, pubs, restaurants and shopping were all in walking distance.

Pleased with all aspects of The FitzWilton Hotel. My main compliment is their staff. All very friendly and helpful, especially Lynn in the restaurant. Lynn was fabulous, she catered for my dietary needs without making me feel uncomfortable. Her bubbly, friendly and helpful personality was wonderful. We looked forward to going down to breakfast to see her.

Great staff, helpful, friendly. Clean comfortable room. Delicious breakfast and safe car parking spaces. We had a lovely time here and would definitely stay again. Loved the comfy pillows and the breakfast was a hit for all of us. Lovely drink at the bar aswell. Only negative was one button on the lift was tricky and a vending machine was out of order but not even needed. Thank you. Recommended.

Hotel is in a prime location in the middle of all the action lovely bar and food rooms are modern and have everything you need Staff are all great and very helpful Galway is the best city for food drink and a great atmosphere

Clean room. Gated parking onsite available. Restaurant had good food. Location had lots within walking distance. Staff was friendly and even allowed us to check in a bit early. Would recommend and stay again!

Great staff

We were there for the new year eve. Very disappointing that hotel had no entertainment on on new year's eve. Also no continental breakfast. But the staff did get her some cheese. A Scottish lady was very helpful and got her some cheese as did a young Black chap they were very helpful.
