Great resort for relaxing, and enjoying the Sun. Fantastic drinks selection & quality. Staff personable & willing to go the extra mile. Only down side would be daytime entertainment.lack of snacks in room and at the bars

This resort is really impressive. Well planned, lots of space, great planting and really peaceful. The rooms were big, generous bathrooms, high quality linens - including the beach towels - and our room had a massive balcony. The beach is lovely, plenty of sun loungers (also high quality), and wind breaks for each pair of loungers. The staff really make this place so special - they’re friendly, accommodating and language skills are amazing. I would highly recommend and will be back

Breakfast outstanding staff and grounds are excellent

Great location, all the staff were really lovey. Food was fabulous. Would come back again. We had a misunderstanding with couple of the independent businesses onsite, and I was impressed that the hotel advocated for us and solved the problem for us. I felt super safe. Thank you. El Gouna is my new favourite holiday destination from now on.

This resort is truly a master piece of architectural engineering, interior design and landscaping. It is also a role model for staff selection, staff training, customer service and environmental conservation. Nevertheless there will always be a room for improvement. The switchboard doesn't pick up calls and over 2 weeks of persistent calling i was answered only once. The reservation dept is delayed in replying to emails. The deluxe king sea view room in the ground floor may be classified in another category, like direct beach access, for example, as it doesn't provide the promised sea view like the upper floor does.

The consists of several buildings and is very scenic, the rooms are nice and the staff are friendly and helpful, however I am disappointed. They tried to get me to pass off to me a room with a lagoon view instead of the more expensive beach view that i paid for so after going to the room i had to return to reception to change rooms. No hotel wi-fi - the network available is the Gouna free WiFi The breakfast buffet was more appropriate for a 4 star hotel and not worth the price. Only 2 types of local cheese, no pancake syrup, local brand nutella-like product, only grapefruit, dates and canned peaches offered as fruits. The brown bread was stale. I went out for breakfast after first day. Coffee capsules in the room are replenished at a charge although they are not nespresso brand. Distance from rooms to the reception was inconvenient and the 15 minute wait for a golf car made things a bit difficult. Plus there are no maps so if you want to visit someone in a different room you will get lost.

Great food and service. Wine was drinkable, beer too. Cocktails - poor quality.

Large property with beautiful gardens and lagoons. Well kept and attentive staff.
