Room Mate Carla is in a great location. We didn't need to use a taxi at all, we could walk to all the things we wanted to see. There are also some nice restaurants nearby. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations. We were able to store our bags while waiting for our room with no issues. The room was very nice and the AC worked great. If we are in Barcelona again, we will stay at Roo Mate Carla.

It was great that breakfast lasted until 12 noon this allowed you to rest and got up without feeling rushed to get breakfast in the mornings

The staff were amazing. The place was clean and room was big with a balcony. Although its not in the hustle and bustle area I tell you its very safe and upscale with parking lot near buy. I was robbed on the boardwalk arwa and my head was on a swivel but felt very secure at this hotel and the area. We walked to all the sights and some amazing resturants close by. They have a fridge. Only wish is they had a coffee machine in the room.

Great location

The room was clean. The rain shower head was very nice and soft. The room was quiet even facing the street. The climate control was quiet and you could control room the room temperature to your liking.

We had a fantastic time. The hotel is in a great location. The amenities were very nice and the daily breakfast was delicious!

Although this hotel is beautiful and very well located, front desk attitude was preposterous. I don’t understand why they haven’t explored what good customer service looks like.

Although very well located and beautiful, it lacks an understanding of customer experiences. Front desk team was at times a bit arrogant, almost as if making us a favour. However, the breakfast team, specially Jorge managed to turn experience around. Our air-conditioning did not work, so we had to sleep with the windows open, getting cigarette smoke from another guest. The gym was very small and the only weight machine was broken. We had to pay for two memberships at a nearby gym. We talked to Recepcion several times and the only thing we managed to get was a late checkout for today. We will come back because of the location but will lower our expectations as to the experience.

Double rooms are not really doubles. They're two twin beds pushed together for some reason, so we had to separate them but only had less than a meter space between them due to fixtures. No proper door on the bathroom, more of a stall door so very little privacy when doing your business. Seems like they're trying to be trendy when they could put much more effort in being comfortable and functional. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice view from the balcony.

Staff are very nice. Hotel location is super convenient and quiet. The timing of breakfast is very thoughtful to the tourist.

We loved this hotel. Everything was perfect included location, walkable everywhere … breakfast was fantastic and receptionist were very helpful.

The hotel is a fast moving vehicle with people coming from cruise ships, checking in early and storing luggage. The staff was helpful but ptobably also tired of this. We had to wait but in the end had a room with a very nice view of the sagrada familia. All in all its fine, shower nice but lots of wear and tare everywhere.

A wonderful hotel in a great location in Barcelona. The room was amazing especially the bathtub which my wife truly enjoyed. Would stay there again without any hesitation.

Property is closed to major attractions.

Purchased breakfast buffet was goid value with day before pre-purchase. Could not find the gym, was told it was on 2 nd floor. Always to rooms very dark but roons were good.

Room was very clean and the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. Great location close to all the sites.

More diverse breakfast than expected. Staff very quick to respond to a minor issue. Room was beautiful and in a perfect location to see the city, especially the works of Gaudi.
