The hospitality blew my husband and I away. The grounds were well maintained & the breakfast was fantastic! 10/10 for us. We’d love to return one day.

Clean and quiet room with good view. The building was built in 15th century and just a little bit far away from the downtown.

Lovely location in the Tuscan countryside. Rooms are large & some are located in the main historic building but are in need of updating. Excellent breakfast with large choice of sweet & savoury items & large car park. Added bonus dogs are allowed for an additional cost

This was our third time staying at Villa San Lucchese, and the first time in about 8 years. It was just as wonderful as we remembered! The staff is extremely friendly and that's what keeps us coming back. The accommodations are extremely comfortable. Thank you for the ac! The breakfast has lots of great options, and the fresh scrambled eggs are delicious. We always enjoy dinner at their restaurant as well. Can't wait until our next visit!

This is a family owned and run hotel with wonderfully hospitable and friendly staff and owners. The owners are there all the time to greet and serve hotel guests. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a great view from our window. The San Lucchese restaurant is 5 star ! Very good food, wines and service! We love seated outside on its patio with beautiful views of the vineyards from our high hilltop location. The hotel is very well located and we can get to many different attractions in the region within 15-25 minutes drive. We loved it so much that we extended our stay longer. Definitely highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a secluded gem away from crowds and stress.

Front desk staff worked hard to get us transportation and wine tasting trip. Very nice and welcoming. Great breakfast.

No hot water, but other than that it was great. I’m sure when they fix it, it will get a better rating.

The staff are wonderful! Good breakfast, fantastic restaurant. Downside is not having AC or screens on the windows. I opened the window for 5 minutes to cool it down and ended up with dozens of mosquito bites that night.

Lovely large rustic traditional rooms in stunning Tuscan countryside setting. Handy location for visiting the many local historic villages & towns of the area. Excellent breakfast with a large variety of choices & will cook eggs to your order. Lovely swimming pool in the grounds & on-site restaurant. The added benefit was that our 2no dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel

Lovely quite country area

lovely old estate, charming, large, comfortable bedrooms, restaurant offers delicious entrées, one of the best meals we’ve had on our visit to Italy. friendly and efficient staff, Lorenzo, who speaks many languages guided us to which vineyards and other towns to visit. Beautiful gardens to stroll through also.

Lovely pool area but rainy for our stay. A convenient location for some famous tourist spots. Two different large groups in both nights for our stay, so service suffered. Perhaps this is the hotel’s focus as it is a fair size. Nice enough but not a highlight in our Tuscany trip.

Stayed at Villa San Lucchese for 4 nights using it as a base to visit different parts of Tuscany and loved every minute of it. Not the modern plush clinical 4 star hotels but a very old building full of history, big rooms with sofas if you need to relax, nice outside areas to enjoy the sun. We were actually travelling by train and foot but anyone that doesn't like walking it is 30mins from the Train station up a big hill. Not a issue to us we knew before we booked (the hotel will book taxis if needed though). Been up a big hill of course means the views in all directions are spectacular, loved it. Restaurant is also very good so no need to go anywhere else after a hard day visiting the Tuscan sites.
