Very nicely maintained. An old style building with large windows open to a beautiful view of landscape. The entire place is decorated nicely. The front desk staff Matías is very helpful. He helped us book a tour in the last minute while the original booked tour failed to pick us up in the morning as originally scheduled. We can’t say enough thanks to Matías!

We loved this hotel! Is was so relaxing and cute! The breakfast was amazing and very friendly staff. Can’t say enough how wonderful it was.❤️

The hotel used to be the headquarters of the estancia where Calafate was settled. The house is very beautiful, cozy, and with nice decoration. Clean and comfortable are the rooms. Excellent breakfast and impecable staff, gentle and very professional. The Restaurant is also run by

An estancia converted into a hotel. Property is dated, but very clean. Our room was a decent size, but the bathroom was small with no place to hang towels. Hot water and water pressure was good, Wi-Fi was good. There was no AC and it was quite warm, our first 2 days, so an AC or ceiling fan would have helped. The staff did provide a portable fan, when I asked. We could not open the windows because of insects, and there is no patio attached to the room. The walk to the center of town was over 20 minutes. The breakfast was very good with a decent spread. The restaurant food was very good They have a very limited food menu, however they were accomodating and cooked delicious vegetarian meals for me twice, as I was tired of eating meat all the time.

Great property, although a little tired in places. Lots of good information about hotel and gardens. Excellent bar and restaurant. Breakfast was superb. Staff were super friendly and helpful. 20-30 minute walk into Centro.

Loved the historical features in the hotel and room whilst it still felt modern and updated. Staff were friendly and helpful and the on-site restaurant was great food and convenient - we were even able to take wine back to our room from there even though it's separately operated from the hotel. Room was spacious - though we requested one bed, we were allocated a twin room - not a big deal as the beds were still comfortable, it just wasn't acknowledged that the room preference could not be met. The accessibility of the power plugs in the room wasn't ideal - nothing by the beds or the desk. And a mini fridge in the room would have been helpful. Short taxi or a 15/20 min walk to restaurants in town depending on how far along the main street you go.

This hotel is just a little bit off the main drag in El Calafate, which we enjoyed because it was very peaceful but still walkable. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful; they gave us some great recommendations for dining options in the area and made us feel very welcome during our stay!

Good meal at the onsite restaurant. About a 20 minute walk to town. Very quiet location. Great breakfast. Some issues with our toilet but that was addressed.

Comfy, clean room. The best is the food and atmosphere at the restaurant/ bar. Perfect for an amazing meal after a hike. Very relaxing. The breakfast was amazing! Make sure you leave time to enjoy it!!

Hotel is really good and in a great location - 15’ walk to the city center. Breakfast is amazing and super complete, friendly staff, clean rooms. The restaurant is own by a different company and you can’t charge it to the room.

This is our second stay at the property. It is an easy walk into town but far away enough to enjoy the tranquility of the area. The breakfast was amazing and we also enjoyed the free geology lecture. I highly recommend this hotel!
