The hotel had a nice exterior and the kitchen and bar staff were lovely. The room AC was broken and when highlighted to the reception they showed us a key to press on the side which we were pressing anyway. The AC would switch off on its own and the room was hot. We then had a water leak from the roof and the initial reply from reception was that we would be given a bucket for the dribble if it couldn’t be fixed. Not the customer facing response expected even if the hotel was full. The area was good if you had a car to travel around, which we did. The spa was an extra charge even though the total cost was quite expensive.

While I found the overall environment pleasing, I was quite disappointed with the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. Unfortunately, the walls did not adequately block noise, and I could clearly hear conversations, the air conditioning unit, and various other sounds from the neighboring room during the night. This constant noise significantly disturbed my sleep and impacted my stay negatively.

Amazing property well deserving its star rating. Large bedroom, friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant each evening as it is not close to alternates. The set menu was amazingly good and well priced.

The hotel was good, very clean and quite nice area around, everything was perfect, except the check out, the service at the check out was really bad, that is way I lower my score for this hotel 😉

Brilliant stay, very comfortable rooms and convenient parking. No kettle in the room, presumably due to Covid restrictions.

The bed was not comfortable. The room smelled like smoke although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The pool advertised in the photos is actually part of a spa and requires a separate payment. The hotel itself is outside of the city center. The furniture in the room was A little worn out.

Nice hotel in quite residential area so no good if you want to visit the local town.

The hotel was amazing... in a very quiet residential area and only a short taxi ride into the old town...10 euro. Breakfast was very good plenty of variety.

We are just back from a 9 day stay at the URH and had a fabulous holiday exploring the northern coast of Spain as far west as Vixia Herbeira. It’s a wonderful area and the hotel proved to be a very comfortable base with our family adjoining rooms. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable and very quiet at night. The surrounding Aviles and Oviedo are lovely but have to be visited by car as there is very little around the hotel itself as others have said. With a hire car this was not a problem and we enjoyed visiting Aviles many times for its choice of restaurants and great vibe. The hotel generally offered good value for the facilities offered. However there are some areas that could be improved: The main problem was an unexpected bill for use of the spa pool. We were led to believe from the listing and photographs that that would be included in our stay. At no stage were we told our particular booking did not include the spa pool (i.e. at check in) and each time we asked for a towel and went in were we racking up 12.50 euro per person. Needless to say this led to an unpleasant end to the holiday and some argument. This easily could be avoided by 1. Having clarity in the advertised room and 2. Just like ordering a beer, signing it off to the room. URH You need to sort this out. Other than that significant annoyance, the bar area could do with a refresh particularly of some tired sofas that are not befitting a hotel of this class.

The hotel was great, but the spa is overrated and overpriced! They wanted to charge 18€ for each kid to use the spa, and adults were pretty expensive as well. We ended up going, and it was very crowded and hard to relax and enjoy. The rooms were big and comfortable, so we were pleased with that part.

The place was nice and quiet, however the industry in the area is polluting heavily the air around - what a pity! The spa is not included - not mentioned with the booking @ €20/ two hours?! The address is not recognised by the sat nav so it was challenging to find the place. Great room and big bathroom, spotless clean! Nice! Breakfast not having fresh orange juice and had to insist for an espresso coffee. Pricy! Overall ok. I liked it!

We only stayed one night at this hotel and chose it when looking for one close to the airport. Check-in was very fast and simple. Hotel is located within a nice and exclusive residential area but a bit far from downtown. Other than the convenience of being close to the airport, I would recommend this hotel more for business travelers, golfers or week-end get away because it is a bit far from everything. With respect to the room, it's clean and average size. Beds .are very uncomfortable and TV size is very small if compared with all other similar hotels of the same rating. It has a restaurant and bar. Buffet is very good and offered at a reasonable price.
