Everything was very safe the staff was great and friendly. The The staff was also very helpful in in giving directions and recomendations.

Decent property for just your basics. Great AC which was a must. Elevator didn’t feel the safest so opted to just walk up and down the stairs which I didn’t mind at all. Hallways are dark at night time not a lot of lighting. But location is excellent right in the middle of centro histórico.

I love staying at the older historical hotels in GDL. Hotel Francés just needs some extra touches. Like paint in the rooms and some dusting of the sofas in the reception area. Overall the place is okay. I wouldn’t stay there again just because there’s other hotel with similar prices and better quality. If you are looking for something reasonable priced and just need somewhere to sleep it’s good.

Old and needs some repairs, however great staff, does have a restaurant with descent food. Price is low average, but I guess it match the property.

This place is old and nice, but their beds are old and crap. They need an update on the rooms on their mattress and furniture.

Great location. At the centro and also close to the train. Very clean and comfortable room. The staff were extremely nice and friendly.

Elevator not working, bathrooms are terrible. Will not stay here again

The hotel is beautiful and clean. What you’d expect for a historical building. However, it was listed as having an elevator. When we arrived we were told that the elevator has not been working for almost 3 weeks since they are waiting for a part that is coming in from Italy. I had my 83 year old mother and handicapped brother going up and down the stairs for two days. Not sure if this is Expedias fault for not updating the listing or the hotel’s.

Elevator was broken, and we had to take the stars for the days we stayed. We were on the 4th floor, with an upstairs bar, on one of the nights there was a mariachi playing outside of our room until 1am. Hotel gave us no warring

Our stay was amazing in this historic hotel. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcomed and at home. The amenities and the cleanliness was excellent as well. I will definitely be returning soon.

Heavy mattress

I booked a room with 2 beds. The room only had one bed. The Hotel Frances was full so we had to go find another room. We were charged anyway. Exedia.com can not be trusted. Unless I am refunded this week I will be letting Facebook, etc know

Staff very nice. Hotel is beautiful, rooms are rough. Roof top and Mariachi great. Rooms might be good for some local standards. Those from USA, go somewhere else. I hate to complain, but when there are car fresheners in the bathroom....

Clean and staff was nice.

Staff were very nice and provided great service. Room space was very small specially the bathroom and shower. Towels were very thin. Elevator was out of service multiple times.

The elevator was not working. It was hard for my brother taking the stairs.

I had to check out because elevator was not working and my mom uses a wheelchair. I need my money to be reimbursed for the hotel Frances.
