Beautiful setting, amazing food, loved the separate dog house pub with its fire burner. Staff so friendly and couldn’t go enough to help you. A real treat.

Lovely 2 night stay BB. Dinner was delicious and would live to come again if I didnt live so far away!! Super helpful about leaving a key, as we where a late check-in from a wedding at Hackness Grange

Superb dining pub with rooms. Service excellent from Emily and the young barman who produced amazing cocktails with style and flair. Dinner was exceptional in quality and presentation as was breakfast. Another fantadtic stay!

Brilliant as always

We have stayed in the Pool Villa a few times and this time opted for the dog friendly pool cabin. Absolutely beautiful with own grounds, private parking and a huge hot tub. First class and hotel staff are attentive and caring and very professional. Love it all

My husband proposed to me there & it was our 14th wedding anniversary celebration so it was so perfect we had the same room which is amazing.

Had a great stay at the Durham ox on sat 2nd nov. Lovely accommodation which was nice and relaxed and all staff so attentive. Food amazing also. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend. Just a lovely quiet place. Lisa.

Wonderful stay, the food is pricey but excellent . Rooms spacious and very well appointed. Breakfast lovely, good quality local produce. Staff were all friendly and lovely. Definitely recommended.
