The hotel is in a convenient spot, in one direction is town quite quiant and in the opposite direction is the beach. I looking around and close by are some more beaches in different directions and I have to go exploring. A nice peaceful quiet stay and a cute little food festival has popped up. I might some of the culinary delights the sweets looked huge, I will try one of everything and walk miles!

The staff are lovely and warm the hotel is very pleasant and convenient to the shops, beach everything you need. The hotel does not stick out and in a way this is ideal because you privacy. And the seagulls do not send you up the wall outside on the street and near your window. The traffic is less about 90% and you can breathe fresh air actually. Walking and sught seeing are expetional and being close to the theatre and conference centre, galleries imakes the hotel attractive. And the decor, furnishings are quite pretty sultle not standing out. I feel nice and happy, relaxed apart from the weather. Remember to bring your coat, hat, gloves, and wellies, car, umbrella as well as sun cream Do not attempt to swim because the water is very cold Remember the festival is on the week end, this week end and there is the bank holiday on Monday Come and see for yourself

Ok for a short stay. Bed linen didn’t fit the bed and not particularly comfortable. Room was clean. There were a selection of toiletries if needed, tea/coffee and biscuits in room. Good location.

I stayed here alone, so the setup worked well for me. If I were traveling with someone, I’d probably choose a larger hotel or an Airbnb, but I would absolutely stay here again. The staff were friendly whenever they were available, and they responded quickly when I needed anything. They provided extra towels and shower gel promptly, which I appreciated. A few areas could use improvement. The shower would benefit from an update, even if it’s just a new showerhead, and the towels could be much softer. That said, overall it was a good stay.

Lovely old building close to shops and station about 100 metres to the prom and sea.

Amazing value. I can’t believe it was that cheap to be honest. Was expecting a bit of a dive but it was really pleasant. Comfy bed, good shower. Staff were very accommodating. Had a small issue with the toilet cistern not refilling in the first room, got moved straight away to an even better room. Can’t fault any of it. Nice little stay

This was an attempt to put a modern air bnb approach to an old hotel industry. Reception was manned only when you called, entry was by digital number pads and the rooms were quiet. Centrally located and walking distance to the seafront. Will definitively use again.

The stay was very good. The room was nice. I like the fact there are codes on the doors rather than having to worry about a key. Only minor issue is that the WiFi didn’t work.

King size bed was 2 old singles pushed together with a wafer thin double quilt which was smaller than the bed. Old flat pillows. Room was freezing cold. No towels. Cold showers with mould all over the tile grout. Won’t book again

Self check in, when we arrived the main door had a code which we had not been given so i called the number, the gentleman come and opened the door and said checkin is not till 2, my email states 12. He said the room was not ready and come back at 2, gave us the code for the front door and room. When we arrived nothing was said about the resturant or comunal area both had codes so couldnt access them, and wasnt told about breakfast times. No towels in the room. On the second day we discovered the door was not locking, we reported this aswell as not haveing any towels the door lock was fixed within a few hours but still no towels Room smelt of damp, shower area not clean( mold limescale) and push button on tiolet was broken but working
