Had a wonderful time ! We extended by two days. Staff were lovely and very helpful . Lovely breakfast each morning . Would highly recommend a sea view room . Cobh has lovely coffee shops and we had a nice meal in ‘ the last drop’. Visited all the sites : titanic experience , museum , titanic memorial garden , spike island and did a great walking tour with Dennis Mc Carthy. A great holiday . Hope to return to the Commodore soon again.

This is a very old hotel which means that some area's need updating or renovating. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the location superb - opposite the ferry pick up point for Spike Island and close to the Titanic experience. Not much else going on in Cobh, so a two night stay was more than enough time to do what we wanted to do.

The room was bigger than we expected, very clean, and comfortable. The shower was great! And most of all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The Commodore was a beautiful hotel, great views and location for our 2 day stay. It was very warm while we were in Cobh & no air Conditioning was tough, but still enjoyed our stay and would return.

It was a perfect place for us to stay at for a few nights. Lots to see and do around the area!

The location was good. Booked a room with a two beds, ocean view. First room we were given had only one bed. The location of that room was convenient to the elevator. Asked for a room with two beds, as booked. It took an elevator ride, long hallway walk and up and down two flights of stairs to get to the room.

Peter is one of the owners and managers of the commodore. He is absolutely amazing, giving us a tour of the hotel and history of the grounds and city. There is so much heart in this place because of the character of the hotel and the beautiful people that go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Absolutely love the hotel and people, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Historical. You even get a real key instead of a boring keycard! This hotel is absolutely lovely and a perfect place to stay for your visit to Cobh. Walking distance to the Spike Island tours, great small restaurants closeby, walking distance to the Titanic museum. AND THE VIEW. Get the rooms with the view of the coast. You won't regret it.

The night manager, a genial chap named Mr Nash, was most welcoming and helpful when our arrival was delayed till 1.30am due to a late flight. The room was very clean and had all the essentials and staff generally were helpful throughout our trip. We'd definitely visit there again on a trip to Cobh/Cork. Many thanks.

Our room was exceptional (and enormous), with a beautiful view of the sea. Waking up to seagulls (sometimes staring into the room) and the relaxing sound of the sea was magnificent. The terrace was a perfect meeting place after a long day of hiking, walking, and exploring. The breakfast was absolutely flawless as well, and the restaurant staff and front desk staff were lovely as well. Perfection.

Awesome location! Staff was super friendly and helpful with tips and suggestions. Older building but with character and history. Definitely would stay again.
