Great spot!

The room is disgusting, there was a kitchen in our apartment with a rancid smell. The room smelled of mold and there were hairs on the pillowcase. The bathroom was awful. The toilet did not flush unless pressed twice. The shower head had exposed wires. There was limited hot water.

Good hotel for the price

We stayed 2 nights at this charming hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the courtyard was cute. Our only complaints were that the bed was much firmer than I prefer, and that there was not a refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker in the room, as most of the places we stay have. Other than that, the room was lovely and the shower had good water pressure and hot water.

I booked a junior room with air conditioning (AC), but the AC was not working. When I reported the issue and requested a room change at reception, I was told, “You booked this room, so you won’t be given another unless you pay extra.” As a result, the room was extremely hot and it was very difficult for me to sleep. Eventually, I had to check out at around 5:30 a.m. because I couldn’t get proper rest throughout the night.

Staff is great very accommodating, from late arrival to arranging drivers. Much appreciated

Reminder to thoroughly read reviews! If I would have looked beyond the 'questionable' positive reviews I would have avoided the persistent issues with Casa Lima: unsanitary room, bugs in the bedroom and bathroom, no hot water, moldy smell in the unit. I was scheduled to stay for 6 days but checked out after the first night. They refused to give a refund - also typical - but I learned a valuable lesson by selecting the worst hotel in my 30 years of travel

We had a great stay at Casa Lima! The staff was so nice and accommodating. Our rooms were safe and clean. The garden was beautiful!

Excellent and convenient

Staff were very polite. Room was good and clean.

The room it is dysfunction, refrigerator brook, sink in the bathroom, detached i almost fell ,toilets water running all the time, lots of noise from other customers until 12.00 am, breakfasts was a joke, almost nothing, no shampoo, in the shower containers, i was charged extra because the room was giving to me was a closet. I will not recommend to anyone. The staff, are not English speaking only one person

We look forward to coming to this place as it is in a great location, in the middle of everything. Easy to get to Escazu and Sabana and is a good price. But now they got a new chef who doesn't want to make the fresh bread knots that we loved and was one of the main reasons for coming here. Now it's just a couple of pieces of a baguette, which is disappointing. Please bring the freshly baked bread knots back and tell the new chef to stop being lazy! Also, they stopped providing milk it is now only the coffee mate creamer/powder. The room itself was fine especially when we're just there to leave our stuff and sleep. Bed was clean. The staff were very helpful and speak English and went out of their way to help us when our car got broken into. Very thankful for their help!

There was no hot water. They gave us hand towels to bathe with. I did a package that included a honeymoon room, the room didn’t have a fridge or microwave. Was the same size as the regular rooms. I would never stay another day at that hotel.

There was a loud party going on in the Courtyard late into the night and when I tried calling the front desk nobody answered the phone.

I didn’t enjoy my stay. I had to make a last-minute cancellation for my reservation near La Sabana Park because my spouse couldn’t tolerate the constant motorcycle noise, and there weren’t many alternatives available. As a result, I ended up booking this place. The stuff is speaking english and was nice but the place itself is falling apart. Sokets were loose, bed was squeaking all the time. Urine smell from the restroom was bad. The overall cleaniness wasn't good. The breakfast included fritter with butter and jam, fruits and drinks. The garden inside was pretty good as well as noisiness level ( not close to the highly trafficking road)
