We had a very mixed experience at Own Búzios. While the staff was initially very kind and the location is excellent conveniently across from a grocery store and easy to get around the room and maintenance issues were disappointing. We were first checked into a room with a shared bathroom despite booking a Premium Double. Once rectified, the second room had a broken AC. We eventually landed in a third room that felt quite run-down with stained sheets. The garden was poorly maintained, with high weeds and even mushrooms growing on the porch. The main positives were the very comfortable bed, a nice pool area for a post-beach swim, and the friendly initial welcome. However, these were overshadowed by a lack of property maintenance and a repetitive breakfast that seemed recycled over our four-day stay. Another down side m was the checkout experience where we were presented with an open bar tab. It felt like they tried to charge us for our "complimentary" welcome drinks, and the staff seemed irritated when we disputed it. Next time, I’ll likely try one of the nearby pousadas instead.

Staff and location was excellent. Hotel has good amenities (pool, restaurant, sauna and steam bath). Rooms and facilities were a bit tired. Needs a scrub and a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was delicious and generous.

What kind of luxury resort hotel has concrete floors in the room and the bathroom? No hot water in the shower? They didn't have any soap. They insisted shampoo is just as good so gave out extra shampoo! Guess what, shampoo isn't the same, so I had to buy my own soap. The rooms open up motel style to the pool area, so lots of ants end up in the room. The pool is not maintained that great and is filled with bugs and plastic. The pool bar is okay, though. The area is in a good location, walkable to all the shopping and the beach. But there must be better options in Búzios.

Our AC was broken but they got us into another rook quickly, the breakfast was great, downtown was right near the hotel and had so many options. The people at the hotel are so nice.

The location is great for shopping and entertainment. Close to the beach but not on it. Towels are disgusting! They are worn down to the thread. Never had our room cleaned in three nights, never got new towels unless we went to the front desk and had to wait in a long line because everyone else needed them and others were checking in and only one person was at the front desk. The floors are filthy. Have certainly never been scrubbed. The furniture is so dirty. Nobody has ever wiped the high touch areas. The refrigerators are dirty and rusty. The sheets didn’t fit the bed. No top sheet. Mold and rust in the bathroom. The staff truly couldn’t care less after you sign the check in paperwork. Parking was great. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Have to pay for espresso from a pod. The hot tub was cloudy. Not good at all! Would not recommend!!

There was no towels that was no TV. was not as clean missing some soap broken shelves in the cabinet are falling apart and breakfast was not great for the first day and then they had Buffet which was fine wow.

The hotel symbol is amazing that placed in bathroom 😁. I met with the coordinator on day time, she told me they try to create an eco-friendly hotel, they are successful 👍✨👏 💯 As a dislike. Just one thing. none knows English except coordinator. Staff should speak at least two languages English , because hotel was fully booked but service was not good because of none understand me at hotel

Very well located, super close to the Canto beach, Rua das Pedras and a lot of restaurants are walk distance. Will come back for sure! Staff are super friendly!

El alojamiento Selina está completamente venido abajo. Es horrible. Sucio por todos lados. Las habitaciones huelen a Marihuna. Y no había agua caliente ni luz en la habitación

no telvision and phone in the room,the bewakfast was poor no elevator to the first flor,the price was very high for what you get,the service of the team was very good and sympatetic

Excelente experiencia, los espacios son muy confortables, tiene muchas actividades dentro del predio. El personal es muy amable y atento. Sinceramente lo tomaría como referencia para buscarlo en los países que visite.

Excelente pleasant hotel at walkable distance from shopping and restaurants area. Huge room with fridge and comfy queen bed. Highly recommended as a choice to be next to where things happen in Buzios

Great location, nice place and decoration. The only thing to improve is the cleanness of the kitchen and the rooms, they clean every 3 days and the day that our room had to be cleaned they did it very late.
