A very nice place and nice staff also

We were greeted in a friendly and welcoming way and given the choice of two rooms - one with, the other without a balcony. We chose the room with a balcony and spent a very pleasant hour there each day, reading. The hotel is in an excellent location with the railway station a short walk in one direction, the town and harbour (with all the wonderful shops and restaurants) a short walk in the other direction. The choice of breakfast was extremely comprehensive with something for everyone, including at one point, fresh honeycomb for our toast! The staff were most attentive and helpful recommending restaurants, organising taxis, advising us on train or ferry timetables, local events taking place, etc. We very much appreciated the way they looked after us - faultless.

Average hotel in need of an update. Shower screen was of foldable plastic! Not impressed by the breakfast, juice not nice. We were recommended a restaurant where we had had a poor experience previously. Would not stay there again.

This is a wonderful hotel - a short walk to the train station and to the center of town. It is smaller and quieter than the hotels right in town - less traffic noise which I appreciate. The staff is friendly and helpful and all speak english. I highly recommend this hotel. Sara, the owner, is super.

The hotel located just outside the historic center, close to restaurants and supermarket. WiFi reception was great ( we got room on the 1st floor ). The breakfast was fine, not too much options but enough too get you through the morning. Every staff member we address was extremely nice to us and helped us a lot to go around the lake with great tips. The hotel looks and feels old but its lovely.

Location is 5 min walk from train station and about same from the ceter of the town. The proprietor Sera is very helpful and friendly. Same goes for her assistant Chiera.

Really pretty hotel in a good location walking distance to train station and lake garda shops restaurants and waterfront. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Amazing choice of continental breakfast and lovely coffee!!

Felt very welcome, big room, nice outlook and a short walk from train station. Wifi good. Nice breakfast. Easy walk to the waterfront. Lovely stately Villa.

Our friends and us just spent two nights at this strategically located property. The accommodations were superb and the hotel was run like a very comfortable, well-oiled machine. The hotel is literally just a 5 minute walk from some of the best restaurants we ate at in Lake Garda. The hotel offered a great atmosphere but was made incredibly special by the friendliness, helpfulness, and seemingly always present owner, Sara. It is obvious she make the property the great success we felt it was and are thankful for her presence. Our next trip to that area will certainly include a return to Hotel Giardinetto.
