The hotel is located in a beautiful and idyllic setting just outside Siena. It is an old Tuscan villa with a unique charm and authentic character, which makes the property feel special. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. However, the overall atmosphere is not very welcoming. Although the staff is polite, their friendliness feels forced rather than genuine. Throughout our stay, we had the impression that guests were more of an inconvenience than truly welcome. The breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. It was adequate at best, but far from what you would expect from a hotel of this type. Everything seemed carefully rationed, giving the impression that guests should avoid taking too much. Coffee is only served by the staff, and the same applies to scrambled eggs and other hot items. Unfortunately, the portions were extremely small—almost ridiculously so. What I found particularly unacceptable was the hotel’s policy prohibiting guests from bringing any food or drinks purchased outside the hotel onto the premises. I have never encountered such a rule in any hotel around the world. According to the hotel, violating this rule results in a €50 charge. In my opinion, this is unreasonable, and I would strongly advise future guests to be aware of this policy before booking. Overall, while the location and the character of the villa are lovely, the lack of genuine hospitality, the disappointing breakfast experience, and the restrictive house rules mean that I would not choose to stay here again.

Stayed in this villa for a couple of nights. It’s a great option if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center. The location is lovely, with birds chirping in the background. The rooms were small, but they had all the necessary amenities for travelers. I had dinner and breakfast once each day. While the food was sufficient, I think it would be better to have more options given the 4-star rating of the property. The staff members were helpful and friendly.

We just stayed here for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. From the day we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely welcoming and brought us to our room, explained where everything was and gave us a few flyers with a map and information. The bus stop is right outside and will take you to the Siena train station and also the central part of the city in less than 20 minutes. The grounds are really pretty and you can just sit and enjoy the beautiful landscape with a glass of wine. We’d like to highlight the restaurant as well! The meals were yummy and the service was top-tier; big shout out to our waiter Alex who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! It is a little bit removed from things if you don’t have a car; the closest restaurant is about a 15 min walk away. All things considered, we still would definitely recommend this place to stay while in Siena.

Charming hotel and nice region but absolute terrible experience and apaulling management We were here for 2 nights for a wedding and had booked through a wedding website (withJoy). We called weeks before to cancel the first night. The hotel said it was Joy's responsability and they would not cancel. When we arrived the second night, the room was cancelled for "No show" even though we had warned both the hotel and withJoy weeks in advance On sunday, we were notified last minute that there would be a late checkout charge of up to 50 euros. We were out of the room at 11 30 am so 30 min after 11 am but management had zero leniency. Keeping in mind they had charged us and kept our money for the first night we tried to cancel, the least they could do is to waive a 30 min checkout fee And communication from management was very aggressive

Like some others not sure where to start.. I will start with the final straw as I have NEVER written a bad review. We had the hotel arrange a transfer as it was 11:00 when we landed in Florence. It was only a 40 minute ride (50km) but cost 220 euro. When we woke up the next morning we saw that we were near nothing and asked the front desk where we could get a car and they were kind enough to help and arrange a taxi. We rented the car for the duration of our stay there which was 4 nights. Upon checking out the they asked if we needed the ride to the airport now that we had a car and I said no. After 2 minutes the girl came back out and said our 3pm could not be cancelled (It was 9:30am).When we arrived home I received another bill for 220.00 for a ride we never took.. What else, bathroom as other had shown pictures the toilet and the sink are almost touch and let just say its difficult to go to the bathroom (and the toilet runs on for 10 minutes after flushing). Furniture is plain old, not nice old just old! As well as other noted you cannot bring your left over pizza to your room as well you are not allowed to drink the nice bottle of wine you bought at the hotel. If you want a glass in your room its 10 euros to rent it... The grounds COULD be very nice but it is very rundown. Tennis courts are a mess as is the pool. Restaurant breakfast was poor at best 1 scrambled egg and 1 piece of the thinnest bacon ever. Dinner we only will say poor. So what's good, if you can live with a so called boutique hotel in need for a huge repair the views are good at sunset, otherwise stay somewhere else.
