Clean, close to beach, friendly staff in particular Miguel or reception and Maria on entertainment. Great breakfast.

Hotel location is ideal. It's close to restaurants, bars and beach. The room smelled a bit like mold.

The location near Cala Gran was the best part of this property. We paid for a Sea view room which was anything but. Room 151 is on the corner facing Cala Gran but too low to see over the tree. The AC wouldn't go below 75 deg F, and the fridge barely got drinks cool. The bed felt like I was back in college and squeaked whenever we moved on it. Breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection. There is a large pool just mask sure you get down there early to reserve some chairs it fills up quick. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5

great hotel, great service, amazing location. Entertainment could be longer and better considering an adult hotel and needs to accommodate for the younger age a little more.

Regrettably the only part of the stay we enjoyed was leaving the hotel !! Booked as a last-minute trip to meet friends we searched the Internet for suitable hotels where the Tucan was recommended, the dates worked and price was very competitive although at the time of booking it was not made clear the price was based on several caveats one being the role of ‘ car park monitors ‘ .... it’s important to note if you book one of the special price deals you get the upgrade of hearing the rubbish men come and go at 2am plus a second visit later in the day , not only are you treated to the noise of clunking bins and machines but at 6am you get to see and hear the delivery vans bringing in your breakfast ,, but don’t worry if by chance you miss the excitement the cleaners will be sure to wake you up with the shouting outside to one and other with the possibility of some slamming of doors . Working on the theory you got so drunk the previous night and slept through then try not to miss the breakfast , it’s a themed breakfast based on the 1980 tv series Hi-de-hi :-) The food is fully catered for people with allergies , that in the fact of fresh food allergies so provided you like your food cooked the previous night it really will be a joy , we also recommend trying one of the 1 bean water coffee’s from the vending machines , if you don’t like your coffee strong or even to taste like coffee then you will really enjoy. Only here for 2 nights but enjoyed my stay. The staff are lovely and friendly and everything is very clean. My only complaint is that my bed springs were squeaky- so much so they would wake me up in the night- but overall still an excellent stay.

The staff were very professional and happy to do whatever they could to make our stay a good one. Location, quality and service make it well worth 4 stars. However, cooking smells throughout the hotel were awful and could cost the hotel one star in the ratings- please sort this asap

Small clean room, hotel ready for updating but facilities were good. Breakfast was good and the location was fab.

The hotel is in a fabulous location as it’s si close to the town and beaches. The hotel was clean and had great air con. Breakfast buffet was delicious! The only bad point was the booking system of sun loungers. It just seems like a money making system. When we got down to the pool after breakfast all of the loungers had either tags on them or had towels. And most of these were unoccupied!!

Great stay at this hotel, room was clean, tidy and really comfortable. Room had air con, fridge, safe, tea/coffee, shower gel/soap. Towels changed daily and you also get pool towels to use that can be changed at reception. Breakfast and dinner we're both lovely with lots of choice. We always got a sunlounger around the pool and we went down around 10.30ish. you can pay extra €24 to keep a sunlounger for the week as they hold some back for this bit we didn't need to do this and our stay was the end of July. Beach is near but packed as they are coves rather than a long stretch of sand, too many people but a beautiful beach. Shops, restaurants are all just outside the hotel, it's situated perfectly to leave the pool and go have a little walk or a coffee somewhere. Hotel entertainment throughout the day and eve was good and not in your face. All in all a great stay, would recommend the hotel but wouldn't go back to cala d'Or in peak season because we like to go to the beach.

Lovely hotel fantastic location. Staff great. Entertainment team lovely and not pushy- aqua aerobics every day at 3 - great fun . Food ok and plentiful. Would have liked half board plus so some drinks with meals. We paid a lot of money for half board and were not allowed water with our dinner unless we paid.

Was a good holiday stating here overall but would struggle to say this was a 4 star property. Food was good can only comment in breakfast but the hotel could do with a refurbishment. Change the room doors and carpets down to the buffet room along with the chairs and sun beds

We stayed here for a short four night break. The hotel was clean and well kept with excellent facilities. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel very welcome. The reception, restaurant and bar staff all went out of their way to help. Our room was clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel was ideal for us with pleasant walks to the beach, town, marina and woodlands. The evening entertainment was also very enjoyable. All in all we would definitely like to stay here again and would recommend this hotel to other couples looking for a comfortable relaxed break in Cala D'Or.

Fantastic 3 night break. Great position, a few minutes walk to beach, supermarket, shops and restaurants. Nice clean hotel, good breakfast would stay again.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel and would love to go back. The rooms were very light and airy and exceptionally clean. All the staff, without exception, were the friendliest we have ever come across. We booked bed and breakfast which was excellent, all freshly cooked and such a wide choice. There are a range of activities during the day in and around the pool and entertainment by night. Couldn't fault it.
