This is an old church maybe a Monastery, unique place. Good hiking short ride to town. Rooms are adequate. Could use a snack bar. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and it is good.

Great place. Beautiful hotel. Amazing restaurant. It is just sad that the AC system doesn’t work. It is clearly old so not a one night problem.

We loved our stay at Auberge de Noves. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and charming, with the nicest staff from all places we visited in Paris. It is located ~20 min from Avignon, perfect if you want to stay outside the city in a more quiet place close to the nature, while an easy drive to many cities in the Provence. The breakfast was very specially served, with delicious French pastries, homemade jams and eggs. I highly recommend this hotel!

having stayed here some years ago we were looking forward to returning, but it's glory days are over. Shabby, overpriced and extremely disappointing. The hotel seemed to focus on large functions and we were an inconvenience - over the two nights stay we saw no other guests. We were asked to eat in our room the second night as they had a function. No free water in the room - it cost 6 euros a bottle, breakfast was on a tray and very uninspiring for 25 euros per person. Our room smelt of stale smoke and was shabby, restaurant food was ok but not a gastronomic experience with smoked salmon and olives served as the taster. We will not be returning and are sure there are much better alternatives in the area.

Really enjoyed my stay here. I wanted a rustic French retreat, and in many ways, The Auberge delivered! Rooms were cheerful and clean, yet still had wifi and modern amenities. The terrace view was awesome and a highlight! The hotel accommodated early check in, an afternoon snack request, and had a yummy French breakfast, which they prepared quickly and brought to our room. Staff were helpful and happy to accommodate requests. I honestly wish we had more time to explore the grounds and really enjoy the space. A few minor things prevented me from giving the hotel top marks. Leaving our window open resulted in a few bees and flies in the day, and several mosquito bites and night! Hotel had a de-cork of charge of 25€ to open your own wine, which I wish could have been waved since it was to accompany an afternoon snack we bought from them. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, though I wish concierge service (e.g., assistance booking day options) had been offered. Finally, bathroom was clean but some updates (e.g., spa tub) would have increased the retreat feel. Minor comments that would have taken our experience from great to really excellent. Also, a tip: food was pricy without other options close by, so if you're on a budget, plan ahead! Would be happy stay there again!

We loved our room -- it was spacious, grand and had a beautiful view! Our first night was wonderful, the second was a little buggy due to my husband leaving our balcony door open and inviting in some unwelcome guests! The grounds were gorgeous and had beautiful gardens and patio.

Good service, great location, and wonderful gardens. Only let down by the restaurant experience where the service was less that what was expected for a restaurant of this nature and somewhat overpriced food.

From the moment we arrived and Carol and her canine companion greeted us, we knew we were in for a special treat. The people, the service, the absolutely stunning location and the outstanding food combined to make this a wonderful experience for my friend Joan and I, who, after relaxing here for a couple of days, joined a hiking group in Provence. The high standard of quality, particularly the food, set by Auberge De Noves, made it a bit difficult for us to adjust to our other accomodations as we travelled across France. Thanks again for makinig it a wonderful stay for us. Donna Blundell

We had a very pleasant stay at Auberg de Noves. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the location is good to go to many attractions of Provence. The staff is friendly and courteous. Beautiful chateau in the country. Very few guests when we were there so it felt very exclusive. Nice pool and walks. Amazing chef, wine and welcoming dog.

Lovely lovely lovely! The grounds are beautiful and make you immediately relax upon arrival. The gardens around the pool are well-maintained and the pool itself is huge, clean and again, relaxing! The staff is very accommodating (except for the maitre d'/sommelier who was quite a snob and made our dinner quite uncomfortable). Our room was huge and overlooked vineyards or olive trees. The bathroom was large and lovely, although a bit tired. Not much going on in Noves itself, but a quick drive to St. Remy de Provence offers a variety of restaurants and shops to explore and a fun little carousel for the kids. There are many day trips to be taken from this hotel but we mostly went to St. Remy. This hotel epitomizes everything that people love about Provence!

This hotel and their most attentive staff made our trip to Avignon very memorable. The room was lovely and the air conditioning and pool were greatly appreciated when temps reached 93F. We contemplated a guided tour to vineyards and the hotel concierge graciously helped us look for options. Dinner was excellent and service impeccable without hovering. The hotel was unique and beautifully landscaped with two well behaved dogs to make you feel right at home. A trip to Avignon costs 35 Euro. So, if you are looking for a bargain, this hotel is not for you. If you are looking for beautiful surroundings and service, in a tranquil environment away from city hustle, you will love Auberge de Noves.
