We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Metz Centre and would highly recommend it. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff truly made our stay memorable. One morning, we arrived for breakfast with only five minutes left before closing. Tomas at the front desk kindly spoke with the kitchen staff and asked them to keep the buffet available until we had finished eating. That level of customer service was greatly appreciated. When we first arrived in Metz, we had a difficult time finding the hotel. Abigail was incredibly patient and went above and beyond by waiting outside so we could spot her waving and find our way. Her kindness immediately made us feel welcome. On our departure day, we wanted to spend some time exploring the city center before picking up our car. Aurore graciously offered to store our luggage so we could enjoy our last few hours in Metz without having to carry our bags around. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, great breakfast, and exceptional service from Tomas, Abigail, and Aurore made this a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Metz.

The hotel is in a pedestrian only zone. You have to use a paid public lot. Hotel gives a discount coupon.

Large, new looking room and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast, helpful staff, and walking distance to all of the sites. Train station and Pompedieu Center Metz are about a 20 minute walk at a comfortable pace. Hotel is surrounded with good eating and shopping for all budgets.

I stayed three nights in this hotel. It’s clean, quiet and staff are friendly and welcoming. Location is very good, it’s close to everything. There’s a free shuttle bus to the train station just one minute from the hotel.

Hotel and staff are great. Parking in the area is challenging. City seems to be allowing far too many homeless people to bother people in pedestrianized areas.

If you want a hotel in the centre of Metz this is for you. However the car parking is not at the hotel and involves a 5-minute walk in this case in the rain and the rooms are quite small.

If you have a car it is a bit tricky to organize access to the hotel, and parki g is off site with a bit of a walk. But the lovation is perfect.

The hotel is very nice (although the rooms are a bit small) and quiet. Great location and wonderful service.
