Very nice small hotel with excellent staff. Located just a five-minute walk from the train station and downtown attractions. The man at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful with directions, advice, solving little problems, etc. Rooms are small and spare but quite adequate and comfortable.

Hotel needs more electrical outlets in the room!! Maybe a tea and coffee maker would be appreciated!!

Service was excellent, both friendly and accurate. The hotel is very well located especially if you are traveling by rail. As you would expect, the rooms are on the smaller size and slightly dated, but perfectly fine for a 2 to 3 night stay.

Convenient location near to the central bus station. The hotel room was comfortable. Good kebab restaurant next to the hotel. Was great for an overnight stay.

I will be recommending this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Zurich. I travelled with my husband and 5 year old son. Not only is this hotel one of the most reasonably priced in the city, but it is situated in a prime location for exploring all of Zurich’s attractions and is a 2 minute walk from the train station. The hotel itself is basic, but very clean, and has everything you need as a base to explore Zurich. The hotel decor is dated, but we loved it, as it added character and had retro charm. The hotel staff were so welcoming and could not have been more accommodating. The receptionist was wonderful with our son. Our room was on floor 5, which meant climbing a lot of steps to get to the room. This wasn’t a problem for us, but there is a lift you can take, however it is very small and would only be able to take a few people at any one time. Each morning we went next door to the bakery for breakfast. The eggs were some of the best I’ve had, including fresh pastries and bread rolls. There is also a choice of jams/honey to accompany your breakfast. Before leaving the hotel each morning we were greeted with reception offering us bottles of water to take with us and fresh fruit. I would not hesitate to return here again in the future.

Reception staff were excellent , however our room was noisy due to noise from the street / poor glazing. The heating in the room didn’t work and nor did the electrics on the back wall . A real shame as staff, cleanliness and location excellent

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The fellow at the front desk was very friendly and always greeted us as we came and went. The housekeeper lady was very friendly and took care of our laundry in record time and with great care. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The room was quite spacious but a bit outdated. The location of the hotel is a quick 6-7 minute walk to the main train station. There is a nice cafe right next door. We would stay again for sure.

This little property was amazing. The hotel is old, but well kept. The room was small, but very comfortable, clean and quiet. Located less than 10 min walking from Zurich main train station and only 15 min walking from the old town. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. There is a great cafe restaurant next door for breakfast or lunch.

Very close to train station. Hotel contracts with cafe next door to take care of breakfast. Very good food,but limited options. But we enjoyed it.

They are using the cafe next door. The breakfast would be a coffee and pastry. I did not get the breakfast, so I can't comment on quality. My room had no heat. The desk did send me an electric radiator which helped some, but it was a good clothes warmer. The hotel is 3 blocks from the main train station

We started for one night there, very convenient to walk to the train stations with luggage. loved the pillows and blankets in the hotel. Walkable to old town, many dining and shopping in the area. Helpful stuff. At night you have to scan your keys to walk in.
