great breakfast- friendly staff and great choice for the breakfast

Staff was so nice and helpful! What a nice surprise, Room was amazing. It was like we had a small apartment! Breakfast was very good. Better than most of the hotels we have stayed. The staff went out of their way to accommodate.

Car parking area could get loud with people talking but overall not bad. Very nice hotel

Good breakkfast in the rate. The manager changed my room to give me a bathtub which I greatly appreciated. I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past five years.

Really convenient hotel, with a parking garage. We stayed for a couple of days. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Rooms had portable air conditioning since there’s no central air. It worked fine. Beds were comfortable. Everything in area was walkable. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

Property was okay. Better review would have been given but we received poor check in service. Shower grouts need to be cleaned properly. Otherwise, decent place.

We had some issues with late check in , but the manager and owner intervened promptly and solved the issue. The hotel was clean , well equipped and had very good breakfast. They need better system for late check in . But overall great place. Happy to come again in the future.

Great location. Quick access to the center of the city.

We had a four night stay at the Mercury and it was an excellent choice of hotel. The team on Reception were so helpful and friendly - going ‘above and beyond’ to help us. The breakfast was delicious and the team in the restaurant worked hard to ensure the buffet was well stocked with a nice range of breakfast treats. The hotel enjoys a central location and is just 5 minutes walk from Leopoldsplatz, the centre of the town, so it’s really convenient. We enjoyed early morning walks (and runs) on the Lichtentaler Allee - a beautiful tree lined walk along the river, which starts about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The bedroom was a good size, although our bathroom was quite cosy (apparently some of the other rooms have bigger bathrooms). We will definitely be returning to Baden-Baden and will certainly be looking to stay at the Merkur, which offers excellent value for money.

I have stayed at the Merkur for many years and enjoy the quietness and atmosphere. Baden Baden I'm my place to escape from my busy life.

I appreciated all of it. The front desk staff were so helpful. The food was good. I loved walking around the town and the people I met. Very hospitable for a single traveler.

The hotel was in a great location, walkable to everything, including the spas. Decor is dated, though, and no restaurant. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Very quiet and clean.

Great one night stay. The single room is lovely size and cosy. Clean and up to date. Ladies on the reception were also very helpful with recommendations on what to do and calling me a taxi to the airport.

Friendly reception and we were able to access our room two hours before normal check in time. The room was spacious and overlooked a very quiet street. The breakfast was very, very good with an extensive selection of fresh food to select from.

One of our favorite hotels on our 2 week trip through Germany. The room was small, but had a portable AC which made the hot weather much more bearable. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcomed. Walking distance to all the great dining and shopping.
