Staff were lovely, room a good size but the building is tired and the food was shockingly bad.

Close to the motorway, easy parking and late check in possible. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Loved this hotel.. the staff are what really made it special. The 2 receptionist covering the evening were kind snd extremely helpful. I arrived hoping to get something to eat but was tokd there was no food available at the hotel. However the girls who were also Bilingual helped me over food which was promptly delivered and delicious. The bar is well stocked and the hotel is very quiet

Perfect stop for a night sleep after many hours of driving without getting too far from the motorway. Very clean, great breakfast and excellent service.

Excellent overnight stop to just off the A2. Very close to service station for re-fuelling as well but you would not see the station as it is well hidden. Hotel is very comfortable and functional with friendly, helpful staff. We were very tired so we ordered dinner in our room - faultless. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of meats, cheeses, jams and breads. The sausage and scrambled egg was very tasty. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Helmstedt region.

A short stop on our way from Italy to Denmark. Found the hotel at Hotels.com and booked a room. Arrived 10 minutes later and was received by a friendly receptionist and was checked in within 5 minutes. Went to the restaurant for a dinner. It looked like the restaurant was staffed by inexperienced people and we got the impression that a senior person to guide the young people would have been appropriate. That is my reasoning for a neutral service vote The room was good and clean, the breakfast good and an easy check out made it easy to continue our journey towards Denmark

Really enjoyed the room, very comfy and clean! It is a shame that I was forced to double pay on checkout as they hadn't received the pre-payment from Expedia!? Saga continued after claiming the money back as they only refunded partly and I was forced to contact for the third time in order to receive the pre-payd amount in full from the hotel!

We needed a place to stay while visiting VW in Wolfsburg. This hotel was perfect.

Very good hotel which is a pleasant walk from the old town. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Excellent choices for breakfast buffet. There is a restaurant but we didn't use it. The staff were very nice and spoke good English. There is also a sauna but we didn't use that either. Only one downside - as they allow pets in the hotel, we had to share a very small lift with people who had two dogs and the doggy smell was not pleasant.
