We had a wonderful stay overall and truly enjoyed all 7 days. That said, I’ll highlight a few things others may want to consider. This review is for a connecting room booking (2nd and 7th floors).
At check-in, despite paying extra for an ocean-view connecting room (needed for young children), we were told none were available. There was little effort to resolve this until I advocated for a solution. We stayed one night in a 2nd-floor connecting room (no ocean view) and then moved to the 7th floor. It worked, but was inconvenient, and no compensation was offered.
The rooms are dated and not what I would expect of a 4-star property. Beds smelled musty, extra blankets appeared unwashed, and we had issues with a clogged toilet and a slow-draining sink. The pillows were very uncomfortable, so we improvised. Connecting rooms are at the ends of the building, which offers great views but comes with constant fan noise.
Pools and waterslides were fun, though the slides are quite rough—many guests mentioned minor injuries. Don’t leave towels unattended; ours was taken and replacement fees apply.
Food was good but repetitive. The reservation app is difficult—lining up early worked best. Staff were excellent and kept everything very clean.
The beach is beautiful for sunsets but not swimmable beyond knee depth.
Overall, a fun stay with great staff, but some service and maintenance gaps.
