Shower not working in one of our rooms, wood delivery pallet left propped against the wall by elevator overnight, overflowing garbage left overnight at water station in the lobby - all despite multiple staff nearby. Had to request receipt for payment made on check-out. Desk staff related to guests with an air of suspicion and mistrust. ( we were 2 senior couples )Won't be back here again

Very clean property. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Having a fridge, coffee maker and microwave was nice too. Great value.

Clean and friendly staff

I had a very pleasant stay at the Monte Carlo Inn Barrie Suites. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Exterior/patio area very unkept and dirty. Interior was very dated but clean. Hit breakfast only available Thursday- Sunday NOT CLEAR IN ADVERTISEMENT - Fitness Center equipment broken and unusable - only cardio equipment and dumbbells up to 25lbs - Very close to highway 400 and you hear the noise of a highway all the time, not subtle noise.

Stay was comfy and room was clean Comp breakfast was more than needed.

The pool was great ! It was warm like a bath ! On a cool weather day it was great !

The staff were not the most pleasant, when checking in the young men at the counter would giggle and stare and when the staff change happened the ladies weren’t the nicest and had a poor tone. I also over heard the staff talking poorly about working at the hotel

The staff were welcoming, continental breakfast had more options than the other monte carlo’s ive been to. Room itself was clean and furnished well. The pool amenity was a nice addition.

Hotel looked like it had been recently renovated. Not much within walking distance (e.g. no close by restaurants)

Would be nice to be able to get into the hotel and not wait for the night clerk to finish lunch before wandering out after I'd been waiting for 10 minutes.

Good, clean room for an overnight business trip.

This place was fine, the price was very good and the room was comfortable. There was, unfortunately, some very loud sexcapades happening in the room next to us when we arrived (at 4 in the afternoon). Not really the hotels fault. Also, many of the towels and linens were stained. But again, very good value. Decent breakfast, comfortable beds and a quick uber ride to downtown. I would stay here again.

The room is nicely set with everything you need. However, the room seemed run down and had an odor to it. Wet feet or musty. We have stayed here before and have had zero issues. I think it was a one off. We enjoy this hotel due to being family friendly and close to shopping.
