In its heyday (late 60s?) this would have been a sought after spa hotel, but it is faded and needs updating. Having said that it is only 2 star and worth the money. The indoor pool is spotlessly clean and warm, the tennis court good and the staff friendly. The gym facilities consist of a pool table! But it is free. The food is buffet with no choice for main course (think tasty school dinners) but good value with local wines. The rooms basic but with balconies. Location beautiful and silent.
Lots of pluses, a few minuses. Go expecting upmarket Butlins and you won't be disappointed.
