I stayed at this facility for 9 hours on Saturday night and I have mixed feelings regarding my stay. The first person I spoke with to schedule my stay was very accommodating, professional, and attentive. At check in, the front desk staff was very neutral and seemed drained but I didn’t pay it any mind since we were checking in at 2am. Once we got to our room, the trash was full, kitchen was dirty, bed was clearly slept in and it was easy to see no room service was done. So, we went back to the front desk to address these issues and I was happy to hear another room was available for us to sleep in. The front desk staff did fix the problem but he was not apologetic or seemed surprised by this matter which was ironic because their plaque by their front desk states they are a clean environment. But, I was just happy to be in a clean room. No bed bugs were noted but centipedes were, the soap dispensers in the shower were broken the body wash, lotion and generous accommodations were not available to us to due the lack of them being replenished. The set up of the room was nice though and the kitchen though we didn’t use it seemed functional. At check out, there was a new staff member who was kind at check out. I also took a peek around and the gym seemed very nice. By the end, I felt extremely upset I spent $167.66 on my experience. I called to address these issues before writing a review to speed with someone with more authority but I was denied by the front desk. They stated, the only resolve I would get is extra points onto my membership which I didn’t have so I was out of luck. By the end of the phone call it seemed like the person was walking around bc their voice would get distant then become clearer as if they were not even giving me their focus. They also interrupted which made me feel as if they just wanted me off the phone. Overall, I understand now, because of what the employee stated, that because I chose to still stay at the hotel it is my fault we could not come to a comprise so I am now just trying to share my experience so other people know what to expect. Long story short, I guess if you are not happy just leave and ask for a refund rather than a compromise bc this hotel is not willing to accommodate that after check out as directly stated to me. This was my first bad experience at a hotel so maybe this is normal but I was very displeased with my experience.
