Great resort. Check in was easy with transport to the room. Beautiful grounds and views. Room was clean and very nice. Restaurant was excellent.

Arrived on a Sunday afternoon in October, for a 2-night stay, only to learn that the spa is closed on Mondays. Sunday, we had a vast array of breakfast buffet items to ourselves, as we were apparently the only guests in this expansive hotel complex. We enjoyed 2 delicious dinners in dining room. Our bed was very comfortable; spacious bathroom. Very nice water view from our balcony, with Sicily in the distance. Staff were personable and helpful. Overall: EXCELLENT off-season value, although wind and rain prevented us from enjoying outdoor pool/facilities.

Without question the best resort spa in Villa San Giovanni . This is where my dad is from ,so I’ve come to Villa quite a bit . My favorite ! Great live music and Dj by the pool , amazing views of Sicily across the sea . Restaurant rivals any Michelin restaurant that I’ve been to .

Everything was great. The one thing I will say, ensure that you have clicked on the right amount of guests; for some reason, my Expedia defaulted to one guest and we were charged 40 euro a night for each night, which ended up costing an additional 400 euro for the stay.

One of the most incredibly beautiful views: mainland Italy and across Sicily. A 5 star resort with a 4 start service. The Management needs improvement.

Very low occupancy made it too quiet an atmosphere.

Lovely resort. Amazing breakfast spread was included. Friendly, helpful staff. Just the transfers to Reggio, a 15 mins drive was €40 each way. I recommend having a rental car when staying here.

They should change the way to connect to the wifi

The property and staff were great but transportation into the nearby town of Scilla was not easy - no local cab service so one had to arrange taxi service from the nearest city and it was expensive and cumbersome. The area is GORGEOUS

Unfortunately we were not able to get to the property until late in the evening but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was air conditioned well appointed. The property is itself is stunning and very well maintained. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet in the restaurant by the pool with a fantastic view of Sicily.

This location was perfect for our family, we had wedding events in the area and were close to all of them. Then in our downtime we spent by the pool.

There was a large group of people travelling together. We all selected the same room options when booking and paid the same price, but some people were in a new and modern building while we were in a dark, much older building with faded carpets, beds that were very hard and we were only given 1 thin pillow. I requested additional pillows, however they were never provided. That being said, the pool and the restaurant were great. Had we been in the other building, our experience would have been much better.

Outside of the property is very dirty.

Spent over $200 / night no robes, towels poor quality, furniture needs updating, breakfast average. Location is wonderful.

Amazing

The concierge was very helpful. She arranged for a very nice taxi driver who showed us around Reggio. The food at the restaurant was beautiful and the staff was able to explain, in English, what was being served. The hotel rooms are spread out on the property but they do have golf carts with staff to assist as necessary. There were edible figs on fig trees (August). Wow.

Great spot. Out of the way and nowhere to walk to, but worth the views. God was fine, not over the top, but good. Room very nice and truly a resort atmosphere
