I recently stayed at Grupotel Marítimo in Mallorca. While there are some strong positives, the drawbacks significantly affected my overall experience. Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely went above and beyond throughout the stay. The location is excellent — very close to the beach and easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was a standout, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality options. Cons: Sound insulation between rooms is extremely poor. You can clearly hear conversations and noise from neighbouring rooms, which made it difficult to relax or sleep properly. The hotel allows smoking, and cigarette smoke regularly drifts into rooms from nearby balconies. This was a major inconvenience and made the room uncomfortable at times. Overall: Grupotel Marítimo offers great service, a convenient location, and a fantastic breakfast, but improvements in soundproofing and stricter controls around smoking would significantly enhance the guest experience.

I dont usually write the reviews, but here I have to! The staff is incredibly helpful, they helped me with my booking misshap without any complaints and with a smile on their face. Amazing breakfast and Dinner. Definitely worth getting the half board! Short walk from the most beautiful beach! Can only recommend

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly, the food was great, and the entertainment was excellent. Everything was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Great staff throughout the hotel, the food was decent with a good choice. The room was clean and the bed comfy, the room would benefit from a coffee machine. The bike facilites are basic but ok.

We love this hotel and I've been there many years!

The entire place smelt fresh & clean. Everyone you saw from front desk staff to the laundry team greeted you with a smile & wished you a wonderful day. It was too cold to enjoy the outside amenities but the hot tub spa we did take advantage of…nice & clean but could have been a bit warmer. The food!!…was overwhelmingly amazing. Thank goodness we were riding as much as we did or we would have gained weight!

Clean, nice facilities and entertainment

Room good size,clean,but needs sound proofing ( can hear talking and snoring from neighbouring rooms and upstairs) Reception staff excellent, very helpful. Restaurant staff poor in understanding. Bar staff very pleasant, evening entertainment good. Spa not bad.

Excellent hotel, great value, friendly service

We had a great time on a girls' trip. Delta airlines had lost our luggage for 3 days and the staff was incredible kind and helpful with our situation. They helped with plug adapters and essentials that were needed. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast has everything to get your day off to the right start.

This is a great hotel. I had a high balcony with a beach view. Live Music in the bar was unexpected perk.

Food was very good and offered great variety every day with different dinner themes every night. Only some desserts in the evening buffet were too industrial. Excellent breakfast. I didn't enjoy that most of the facilities are indoor (gym, spa, and restaurant are in the lower ground) as it's not very scenic. It would be nice to have an outdoor stage for shows or a proper outdoor dining area. The entire hotel was very clean. The room was good. Very attentive staff. Close to one of the best beaches with no crowd, even in peak season.
