A lovely, restful hotel.

The hotel is very impressive - and just suited to our style. The staff were rather neutral and almost offhand. The breakfast is not worth the money - the single waiter / cook was aloof and offhand - there was stale scrambled egg - I asked for fresh scrambled egg - he decided not hear my request and kept on ambling off around the kitchen and the restaurant.

Beautiful expansive property the grounds surrounding the main traditional "Spanish Villa-style hotel building are as fabulous and beautifully maintained as the building itself. We had drinks and tapas in the bar, and a delicious dinner in the restaurant that was open all day so as we were travel weary it was nice not to have to wait until 8/9-ish to eat dinner. Large choice of wines as well. Everything is clean and comfortable: Bedrooms & ensuite bathrooms are also traditional style ours looked out onto the walled lawns again lawn & shrubs trees well-kept and in the room everything works! Nice hot showers & baths meticulously clean! Plenty of parking - we had a rental car. we didn' get a chance to try the modern gym/pool facility though. We're coming back!

We stayed for 2 days as were trekking about an hour out of the city. We had not been to this town before, so woshed to give it a go. Pleasant hotel. Bar and restaurant staff very friendly. Room a bit small and dated. Unsure if Expedia Diamond VIP meant anything.

A beautiful Spanish hacienda and lovely grounds. Just enough out of Antequera to be quiet. Nothing nearby.

Everything was VERY satisfactory. Have stayed here a number of times and will continue to so do when in the area. I particularly like the way the hotel is presented with "old world " charm , and the service and food have always been to a good standard. Why look elsewhere??

Really enjoyed our stay here. Easy parking (free), great dining room, courteous staff, comfortable beds, pool access (during summer).

It was nice place, friendly staff with large bedroom and bathroom. One big disappointment was ads and images pro it two pools, hot tubs sauna- everyone if these was closest at same time!! Come on its end May !! The gym is enormous and well run.

Excellent does not cut it. Ideal location for business travellers, perfect get-away for leisure travelers. Kitchen is good, bar is good and above all, the personnel is very kind and helpful. Thanks for having me!

Great old school Spanish country hotel right on the edge of Antequera, beautiful building, great patios, superb wine list, etc

We were very disappointed with our experience at this hotel . The floors in some of the bedrooms (ours 102) had been recently polished and the smell was unbearable and offensive - we had to move out at one o clock in the morning to another room. We were first offered next door (101)- which had the same problem ( room door and patio door left wide open when we were leaving - no guests ???). We moved to room 109 which was fine. First time ever we have complained . We were compensated with free breakfast and a bar bill of 15 euros. They said they couldn't refund because already paid through 3rd party Hotel.Com ?

Spacious, clean room with great Spanish ambience. Quiet and restful. Plentiful parking, good wifi.

An absolutely beautiful finca in a beautiful setting. Let cation was easy to find and we had an excellent Meal in beautiful surroundings in the evening. Wished we could have stopped longer

Great character building, with interesting history but all modern facilities. Good service and nice food in the restaurant.

Stayed here overnight on a bicycle tour.For us the location was great but if you need to be close to amenities you would need a car or take a regular taxi.Main town around 5min drive from hotel. Check in was efficient and welcoming. They also had a secure unit for our bicycle storage. The pool and spa were an added bonus but a tip for the management spa area needs some refurbishment as a number of the spa stations were either not working properly or not at all and the tiles in areas needed replacing. The food and service in the restaurant area was good and reasonably priced. Our double room was comfortable but we were disappointed that we dud not get the garden view room as stated in our booking,but this was not a problem as we were only overnighting for 1 night. WiFi was on the whole quite weak but stronger in the lobby area. The hotel is of a typical Spanish style with lovely indoor courtyard leading to the lobby and reception area. The hotel grounds were pretty and well kept. All in all a good stay.
